Comfortable, good sleeve length, cool

I usually wear an XL, sometimes even an XXL when it is cut small. In this shirt, an XL fits me like a typical XXL. I got the Large and it fits me perfectly.I love this shirt model. It a win. This color is pleasant and happy. It will show thru printing on your undershirt.I have tried other brands making a very similar design, and Columbia does it the best. The others have a lot of loose threads, the Columbia is made to the highest standards.Extremely versatile, exceptionally breathable. Light as silk. People mistake it for silk. Comes wrinkled but that washes out.

I have a couple, plus multiple copies of the short-sleeved version, which I have reviewed elsewhere on Amazon. The two differ only in that the long-sleeve version has -- wait for it -- long sleeves. Said sleeves have a strap attached halfway up the sleeve (inside) with a buttonhole. When the sleeve is rolled up about to the elbow, the strap can be buttoned to the the outside of the sleeve, keeping it rolled up. In practice, because the material is so silky and diaphanous, it will unroll and sag unless you fold -- not roll -- it, starting by just flipping the cuff up toward the elbow, and continuing to fold, up to the strap. To hit the high points: this is a dressy-looking shirt with a button-down collar. Quality is immaculate. The material is a 2-way stretch poly rip-stop, reasonably opaque in most colors (one of the greens lets your skin color show thru), light enough that it will dry easily even in the tropics. It has a rear vent all the way across the back, an ugly triangular "PFG" logo patch between the shoulder blades which can easily be removed without affecting the construction of the shirt, and ample pockets. In removing the patch, each stitch must be cut and teased apart without ever pulling on the threads with appreciable force (takes 5 minutes). You must not use your seam ripper the conventional way, or you will leave an area of fabric permanently damaged when the threads pull or the ripper snags. After one washing, the needle holes will close up. Dressy looking, rolls up 1.15" by 9" and, when unrolled, looks good enough to go out to a nice place, even without fretting about the wrinkles. Seems to tolerate DEET and (Sawyer) permethrin spray without problems. Has a UV protection rating. I have mostly worn mine for mosquito protection in malaria country -- so mostly in the evenings -- and cannot vouch for the efficacy of the sunburn protection. Oh, and comfy.

Great shirt - light weight, cool, high quality material and stitching.Size - it is known that this shirt runs very big and sizing down is required, but for taller falks the smallest offered size is LT that fits more like an XXLT.I wish Columbia would offer a size MT for this model or just fix the sizes.Color - Gray was much lighter than the image (search for 2024 cool gray), I guess colors changed but are still using the same names and some pictures are out of date in this listing.

The Columbia Men's Tamiami II Long sleeve is an exceptionally light and fashionable long sleeve shirt.Part of the PFG (Performance Fishing Gear) line, it's advertised under their "Omni-Shade" billing, which is part marketing, but it really does offer great sun protection and wicking for such a light material. Living in the South Carolina low country I can tell you first hand, it is excellent for boating, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.This is worth mentioning, because I would highly recommend the long sleeve version of this shirt if you intend to use it outside, especially in water sports where the sun can be brutal and effective sun protection is important. One of the killer features for me was the convenient sleeve ties. on the side of the sleeves there are loops and ties to keep the sleeves up, it seems simple but it's so much more convenient than constantly pushing or re-rolling sleeves like I have to with other shirts.It's also a great casual button down. They offer nice bright colors which is a nice change of pace from some of the more natural, slate, khaki and olive colors you'll see on a lot of outdoor wear. I purchased my first shirt from a Columbia outlet and it quickly became one of my favorite shirts, so I purchased this one on-line. I haven't had any wear issues with either shirt so far, it's been several months on the first and a month on the second.SIZING EXPLAINEDIn reading other reviews there is a lot of confusion on the sizing of this shirt. I had a chance to try on various sizes. I'm normally an XL, in trying on the XL in the store, there was a lot of extra room especially in the back.IMPORTANT, This is not a flaw in the sizing, this is the style of shirt. Fishing shirts typically have many large pockets, and extra room in the torso/back. part of this is designed to allow fisherman to store gear, even large items, in those pockets without making the shirt tight against them.I also tried the Large size, to compare. It fit very comfortably, as I would expect in a standard fit. I chose to get the Large size because the tighter fit looked good, and I don't expect to do as much serious fishing as just wearing the shirt around town. I bought a large on-line as well and the fit was comparable to the one I bought in the store.CONCLUSIONThis is a great active shirt, that will also look good as a casual button down. Recognize this is sold as a fishing shirt, and make sure you adjust the size you order to fit your specific needs. Enjoy.

Color: El color y materiales son de muy buena calidad en realidad los colores están muy sólidos y de mucha calidad.2. La talla: En este modelo, debes pedir siempre una talla menos es decir,.si eres L te sugiero que la pidas M y si eres M pídela S, no hay falla en eso por qué vienen muy amplias.3. Diseño: por sus materiales la tela se estira y es muy fresca, tiene forro por dentro tipo redo o jersey para mitigar el calor y de excelente calidad, lo único es que las mangas viene un poco anchas pero así es el corte y el diseño.En general por el precio es algo que vale mucho la pena sobre todo para estos días tan caluroso de verano, es una excelente opción, sin dura alguna comprare una blanca y otra azul rey.Espero que les sirva esta reseña.Saludos

Todo muy bien, lo único es que las mangas están demasiado largas, parece extra larga
