I'm not big on scents and prefer fragrance free products because I have a sensitive nose and most fragrances make me dizzy, but this one smells good and didn't bother me. You're supposed to squeeze out as much water as possible after shampooing and then apply this. My hair absorbed conditioner right up and there wasn't any slippery feeling at all. It was as if I could've used more, but I held on firm and tried to wait 3-5 minutes which was really hard when you're in the shower and done with washing your hair, but I persevered and rinsed my hair. Again, my hair didn't feel soapy or slippery which is how it usually feels after putting on conditioner so this stuff felt different. Afterwards, my hair felt soft and smooth and felt great. After trying this conditioner, I'm interested in trying their other products.

okay so to start i feel most important to know is that this product in fact does NOT smell like onions 😅 it actually smells 👃 very lovely! 🫶🏻 With a light yet pleasant and relaxing scent paired with the great affects it has had on my hair I must say this product is a 5/5 🌟 in my book. qlmost 2 years ago I damaged my hair so severely that it was falling out and breaking by the hand and brush fulls. Even after shaving 90% of it off i still was plagued by unhealthy hair. after almost a month of using this product my hair looks and feel much better. My hair has much more strength, it has grown some even! any amount of growth is still a huge accomplishment for my hair that has only grow to about my shoulders in almost two years. I am super glad i decided to give this a try.

Happy to report that this conditioner does not smell like onions. The actual scent is hard to describe but it is not overpowering but not particularly pleasant either.The consistency is a little too thin for my liking but as a basic conditioner, it works. My hair does not seem any thicker or stronger so not too sure about those claims but I did come out of the shower without tangles, so that is a plus. My hair did not feel particularly soft or heavily conditioned so I would only recommend this for those that like a very lightweight conditioner.A negative for would be the bottle: it has a screw cap instead of a flip which makes it more cumbersome to use in the shower.At this price I would not recommend it unless you want a very light conditioner that is vegan.

I wanted to try this out for hair growth but it's hard to tell if it's working or not as I don't have bangs that can be easily measured and my hair can get wavy so it changes in length often. It actually smells decently nice and not like onions at all, and washes off easily enough. It also wasn't too thick and could be more hydrating I feel.

This made my hair feel so brittle and hard. I would not recommend for African American hair.
