As I mention in the review video this is a great light kit. The one thing I didn't mention was the app control. This was pretty much the only thing I had an issue with, as connecting the lights to my phone was a bit clunky the first few times, but once I had it figured out it became easier after a few tries. Overall I just love the versatility of this, it comes with almost everything you need (except batteries, if you want to use them away from a wall plug). Longevity is yet to be seen as I've only had them about a week but so far I'm happy!

After spending over a week researching, I settled on these over the 660PRO set which were only 5W more. I should also add, I spent easily as long trying to get an answer from Neewer about the lumen output of these units (turns out, it's low - only 1800 lumens @ 1m ... my halogen is over 8000). I rolled the dice because these have so many great features/colours, to say the least. I need these for providing a spot light in an overhead LED-lit 50'x25' studio, and they failed miserably. Unless the lights are out they're useless. However, when the lights are out they are a good wash light. The barn doors seem to have little effect. I can't believe I'm writing such a poor review because every other review online is so good. Clearly I bought the wrong product for the job. Neewer recommended a 150W spot light, but it's only white. I guess we'll have to wait a few more years for the tech to catch up to my needs..... . . . ..

I have to deduct a star from the beginning for quality control because the silver aluminium frames on both my units were bent out of shape - one of which was so bent that the light panel can't tilt down without hitting it. One of the panels also had the protective film partially removed, with torn pieces around the edges while the other still had the film on.Another problem I have with mine is the bluetooth control; it's just not reliable. Both lights lose connection a lot and when they do have connection they will quite regularly unsync from their group, meaning that instead of both being the same colour, one of them will be a different colour or swich to a different mode (RGB to White, for example). This plus the lost connection issue happens much too often for the bluetooth mode to be useful to me.The scene modes (where the lights flash like police and ambulance lights) are not something I find useful.Aside from that, I like this pair of lights a lot. With the included pop-up soft boxes these produce a really nice, soft light that's more than capable of being used for professional small jobs. I'm using them for Youtube videos and they really are superb for indoor use. They come with power supplies (not all lighting kits do) and they accept F550 batteries, which I had two of already. Each light can run on one battery or a pair of batteries for extended run time.The included stands are quite good - more solid than the stands included with cheaper light kits. And the carry case is really nice for keeping everything in. I'm struggling to get the pop-up soft boxes back to their un-popped-up state and into their sleeves but I'll figure it out eventually, I'm sure.I thoroughly recommend this kit for anyone who wants to take their Youtube videos to a more professional level. Good fighting makes an enormous difference.
