Q: Does the raiser cushion stay firm and give good driving height for shorter people?

I didn't buy it to use in the car & actually it didn't serve my purpose too well; BUT I just tried it in my car so that I could answer your question. I think it would work great for shorter folks. I'm just 5'6" & it raises me quite a bit. I'm thinking I might just try it while driving next time I'm out. As for staying firm, I haven't used it enough to really know how it will hold up over time, but it's very firm & appears to be really well made.

It’s very firm, but it doesn’t last. After a few weeks it breaks in and it feels neither firm nor soft. Does the job but I had a micro bead pillow I liked much more.
