This was used on a runner by our front door that gets heavy traffic and would move a lot due to being on a solid wood floor. This has stopped all movement and has added an addition layer giving a better under foot feeling on a fairly thin rug.

After trying lots of different other options I found this product on Amazon with a bunch of positive reviews. We have two crazy springer spaniels and our rugs laid on wooden floorboards mean that they're slipping and sliding all over the place. The underlay has been down for over a week now and the rug hasn't budged an inch. It seems quite expensive for what it is, but as I say, it's the only thing that I've found to be effective. Just bought a second one.

Bought 2 of these, for different types of rugs that sat on high piled carpet, and they work brilliantly. Cheaper options were useless, you actually can feel the stickiness of the gripper as you peel of the film and lay it on the carpet. The rugs had to go down correctly as once down they could not be dragged across the gripper.

Does what it says on the tin! It offers strong hold to a few rugs around the house especially those on the hardwood flooring. No moving rugs or risks of tripping! Even used the scrap pieces to hold down a fluffy rug next to the bed...works perfectly as well

I thought this was a bit pricey, but it's actually worth every penny. It keeps my large rug in place on our carpet, even when the dogs have been tearing around like mad things.I'd definitely recommend ot to anyone struggling to keep their rug in one place.

A bit expensive but has much better results than anything else I’ve tried. Have used under rug on hard floor and, most importantly, to stop a large rug from moving on carpet. Very effective so far and very easy to cut and use.

Easy to lay

I had a rug (a runner) on a thick-pile carpet, and that runner kept moving, scrunching-up, and developing folds, no matter what we did. Then I discovered this rug gripper. It works, the runner hasn't budged an inch since installing the gripper! However, I had to augment this with some carpet tape at certain points between the runner and the gripper as the runner had had developed some permanent folds over the period of months before installing the gripper. However, I think I would have used the carpet tape anyway as my particular runner was relatively smooth so may still have moved a little bit on the gripper.
