Brown's Grace, a powerful meeting of modern and West African dance with a soundtrack by Duke Ellington, Roy Davis and Fela Kuti and Robert Battle's humorous, high-flying Takadem.

ONE OF THE VERY BEST ALVIN AILEY DANCE CD'S
The Alvin Ailey American Dance CD is outstanding in its content and substance.It is exactly what I would expect from a Ailey Dance Performance.It brought back many "memories" of his dance troupe work over the many years.It is extraordinary, and I can use it for both personal and professional "learning and teaching" endeavors, and the like.I would recommend this CD for anyone who is interested in dance excellence and showmanship extraordinaire.It is "absolutely the bomb" in every sense of the word.

Was everythings I hoped it would be
DVD was perfect, arrived on time and was everything I hoped it would be. Revelations was Alvin Ailey's Purple Rain, a Masterpiece.

The Alvin Ailey Dance Company has been the standard for excellence in dance for decades. This program continues the trend, showcasing new works as well as the always emotionally moving, REVELATIONS. I could watch it weekly, forever, and never get tired of seeing it.

Ailey Comes Alive!
Next best thing to seeing Ailey live and in person. Performance of Grace and Revelations worth the price of video alone. Great visuals and soundtrack. Must have for Ailey fans.

This Ailey production is stellar! I saw this recording on PBS and had to have it! I am looking forward to sharing this with my dance history students!
