This is a great alternative to a cone after having your dog spayed. It was tricky getting it on her at first, but my dog and I are both used to it now. It's nice that in addition to the zipper that goes the whole way up the back (like a jacket), there's a half zipper on the belly side that opens up the back half... For potty breaks I unzip the belly zipper, take my dog's hind legs out of the "pants" and flip the pant legs up over her shoulders and tie them there, like she's a preppy college student from the 1980s. It's easy to slip her legs back in and zipper it up when she comes back in the house. This seems like it will hold up for the remaining week it will take for her stitches to heal, but I don't know how it would for long term use. I have a 60 pound golden retriever and the XL fits her perfectly. The fabric does have give, which is important in getting it on her, especially that first time! And she looks awfully cute in her new pajamas, as we call them.

Our pup had surgery recently that included removal of warts from various locations on her body. The vet recommended this suit and it provides the perfect coverage! The length is great but the legs were long so I just trimmed them with scissors. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a 15-pound dog and this is a medium and just perfectly fit her, so be warned this one won't fit a dog bigger than 17 pounds. The sewing was a bit messy in some spots, so it may come undone who knows I just got it today. The back legs were too long and I had to sew it so it stopped going all the way over her feet and tripping her. So far I don't hate it though, it should serve it's purpose as long as your dog is gentle with it. Might buy a higher quality one from someone else in the future. I haven't tried wasing it, it's decently stretchy so hasn't limited movement.

I bought this for my maltipoo who just had surgery for a torn acl. He was absolutely miserable wearing the Elizabethan collar so I got this to cover the stitches so he couldn't luck the wound. This was well worth the cost, couldn't be more pleased. My little guy is happy and comfortable. Priceless!

If your pet has a surgical procedure done and they tell you to use a cone, order one of these and save you and your dog a huge amount of headaches. He won’t be thrilled but he will certainly be happier than having to wear a cone for up to two weeks till stitches have to come out etc. I had to cut the legs A bit since my dog is little. Don’t hesitate order a few sizes in advance so it’s ready after surgery. Even has a zipper on the underside which makes potty breaks much easier and you don’t have to remove the garment even though sometimes I did just to give him a couple minute break! This truly changed our 14 day recovery.

My dog is normally a large but bought a XXL and it was so tight on her she didnt want to move.

At first we loved this item and found it very useful to prevent our dog from licking knee incision. However, the invisible zipper on the underside broke after only a handful of washings.

Sizing was not correct. No hole for tail

I have a tiny Jack Russell. I checked size guide and ordered medium. It was way too small

XL was far too small for our average sized labrador. Couldn't even get the zips to meet anywhere close! The zipper on the belly for weeing is impossible to open and close and gets stuck. Will be returning.

I was apprehensive in buying as some reviews not good, but decided 2 go ahead, it was delivered via Amazon local pickup point for delivery price advantage & came day early. Product looked good & fitted well, legs just alittle long for my miniature Poodle but just folded up, zips seem good item does stretch, my dog does not mind having it fitted & walked around the house without care, we got it because has a skin irritation & scratches himself so with this onesie can spray or apply cream so no chance of him wiping it if on carpet so great so far it's Working.

Really poor fitting your dog can’t go to the toilet as it’s all enclosed not fit for purpose and the company won’t let you return or refund this poorly designed vest. Don’t buy!

I have used the measuring chart on here to get my dog this suit, according to the chart she's a small. It arrived today and it is far too small. Now I am trying to exchange it, it has come up with not eligible for return. It did not say this as I ordered.
