Fun to listen to, brightly colored, keeps a simple mind occupied for a good while. Enough about me, my 2 year-old grandson likes it too.

This is a neat toy and my baby loves it. They market it for ages 6 months and up, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a teething baby. The caps on the end have rough edges and my baby caught his gums on them and caused him to bleed from the gums. I wish the edges were smoother. I’m not comfortable with my baby playing with this anymore. You would think this wouldn’t be a problem for a toy that is marketed toward babies.

This product functions as a noise-maker and general sensory experience for the baby. He has played with it multiple times, but it does not seem to hold his attention for very long. Of course, nothing else really does either. I took off a star because it is a bit heavier that I would assume a baby toy should be and, when lying down, he has dropped it on his own face a few times and it is not soft. Overall, we are quite happy with it.

Box came with the end smooshed, but I guess it's fine since my 1 year old has no idea. The black rings on it, is rubber, which is probably so it won't be so noisy when it hits the floor, but they come off real easy, an my 2 year old can pull it off. So i just took mine off. It really does sound like the sound of rain.

I bought this for my 6 month old. We had it with us when we were out with friends who have kids ranging from 10 months to 2 1/2 years old. It was absolutely the favorite toy for all the kids. I do have concerns that the design with two clear plastic halves leaves it prone to moisture (Drool/water) getting inside. I'm also nervous about it breaking and releasing all the tiny beads should a child throw or whack it hard enough. So far, it's held up great.

Worried it may come apartNote if you are buying this for a small child, the rubber bands at the ends do come off. Possible choking hazards.

Super vibrant colors! Feels a bit cheap, but I like the light weight plastic; makes it easier for little kids to hold. Two visitors have complimented the toy and plan to purchase one.

This thing is memorizing. If you get one toy for your infant it should be this. I have consistently been able to calm a fussy baby with this when nothing else works.
