Godsend
The PageFlip Firefly BT pedal is a godsend to musicians using digital score readers. It makes page-turning an absolute breeze, almost like the score’s pages are effortlessly turning themselves. This pedal has removed much of my stress during public piano performances. I find it superior to the AirTurn pedal in several ways.As a classical pianist who practices several hours a day, I had been using the AirTurn pedal for about two years. I switched to the PageFlip Firefly about six months ago. I’ve used both pedals with the forScore and Newzik score-reading apps.Advantages, in no particular order, of the PageFlip Firefly over the AirTurn:The PageFlip Firefly is less finicky than the AirTurn. I no longer have to worry about inadvertently turning two pages at once; The PageFlip is easier to find with my foot. The shape of the pedal matches the shape and angle of my foot on the floor. The lightly-corrugated, rather than slick, surface feels more secure; The PageFlip BT pairing mechanism is simple, straightforward, and immediate, whereas the AirTurn is more complex and can be very frustrating to attempt to pair; The PageFlip is more substantial, seems better-made, and seems not to slide on the floor so much;My experience with customer support for the PageFlip (when I wanted to re-program certain pedal functions) was outstanding. My experience with AirTurn’s customer service (when I had trouble pairing with my iPad a couple of times, and once when the pedal failed) varied from excellent to horrible, depending on whom I reached. In the past several months, several of my amateur and professional friends, colleagues, and musical partners have upgraded from the AirTurn to the PageFlip Firefly; they express general agreement about superior functionality.Usage TIP:You can make the process almost effortless—and avoid unnecessary movement, stress, and musical disruption—by resting your foot on the PageFlip pedal itself, rather than on the u.c. (pianists), the floor, or perched at an angle above the pedal. Before you start playing the piece, rest your foot (all the way down) on the Firefly pedal, it turns the score to p.2. Don’t move your foot, and use your finger to tap the iPad to turn back to p. 1. Keep your foot down as you start playing. To turn each page, lift your foot up a bit, then lower it all the way to rest on the pedal again until the next page turn.(Note: For this to work, the Repeat switch on the pedal must be in the off position.)

Happy to have bought this as a page turner
Love this. Very helpful for rehearsals and performances for musicians using tablets for music reading. It is compatible with my iPad. I don't use many features yet, other than for page turning. A battery lasts a long time in it.

Works as advertised, but don't drop it.
I am using this with a Boox tablet. Works as advertised. Installs easily (see below) and works with the SheetMusic app.I bought one several years ago and dropped it. After that the page back never worked.I just bought a new one; however, the first one I just received would not pair, the replacement did.

Best page turning pedal I have used
It's not often that I find a device that just does everything I need it to do so easily and reliably. The PageFlip Firefly does this for me. (And no I don't work for this company but I wish I had invented it.)I absolutely love this pedal. Amazing quality and Customer Service is thorough and provides help if needed.I've tried a number of page turning pedals and this one always performs consistently and reliably. The 2 pedals (page forward & back in my usual mode) are easy to find and, if I'm in a dark room, the optional light on each pedal works great for finding the correct button to press. Battery life is crazy long too.I play drums and my feet and hands are busy working to play the music so it is imperative that when I take my foot off a drum pedal that I can get back on it after going to the PageFlip without loosing a beat.Everyone in my last band used this pedal as well for Guitar, Keyboard & Bass. They loved it too.

Bluetooth page turner which is awesome
I am a keyboard player that uses this page turner constantly. It connects quickly via Bluetooth to my iPad and allows me to turn pages by simply tapping my foot. The switch is quiet, responsive and reliable. I play in dark rooms on occasion and this has small lights which allow me to see the two pedals. The battery lasts a REALLY long time which is great. My only complaint, and this is part of Bluetooth, is that if it's not used for a while, it disconnects from Bluetooth and has to be relinked. All you have to do is hold a pedal down until a red light stops blinking in a couple of seconds. It just took a little while to get accustomed to that and the disconnect only happens after quite a while, so it doesn't interfere with a live show. Otherwise, this is a marvelous invention.

Great functionality, durable, easy connectivity, easy on batteries
I've been using this pedal as a gigging musician for a number of years. It has quite a number of features that make it quite flexible and adaptable to diverse needs. It connects easily via Bluetooth with no dropouts as can sometimes be the case in an environment rich with other devices. It uses power sparingly, as each set of batteries installed can last for years. One drawback I've encountered is that the pedal slides far too easily along various floor surfaces. The result is that, when I reach for the pedal, I might miss it or hit the wrong foot switch. This is not fatal, as it can be solved by pasting a set of rubber or cork feet on the bottom of the pedal. Overall, the Firefly is a fine choice and is a good value. The icing on the cake is that PageFlip is extremely responsible should you have any issue and they very much do care about their customers. For me, that's a huge plus!

Takes time to get used to
Playing professionally 15+ years. New to going paperless.*Pros.: I like that it is mostly simple to use. Seems to not drain the battery. Easy to connect to an IPad Pro. Seems sturdy. Used it 10x in an orchestral pit for a theatrical production. The lights on the pedals are easy to find, and were necessary in the dark. Doesn’t advance too many pages at a time. But will advance many pages quickly if you hold it down intentionally.*Con’s: Moved around on a carpeted floor quite a bit. (Thin carpet, not plush.) Also, took some getting used to, to find the correct pressure needed to advance the page. Sometimes didn’t flip, and caused a pause in my playing as I tried to advance the score. (I practiced with it and improved, but still got hung up bad one time.) Tempted to give it 4 stars, but thinking I need more practice, and on different surfaces. I’ll be updating as needed. Also: Somewhat bulky in storage and during transit in my case. And… Doesn’t fit squarely or strap down well. Lol. Go figure. (It’s not square or flat! ) I’ll probably get a small bag for it.

A bespoke carry case would be a nice accessory.
Plug and play. Works well with a galaxy tab and music sheets. A bespoke carry case would be a nice accessory.

Easy to use, connected with my iPad with no problem, great customer service
I bought the PageFlip FireFly to turn sheet music pages on my iPad 2 while playing a digital piano. It connected to my device with no problem and works like a charm with forScore. Before buying this, make sure this pedal works with your sheet music app! I found out that it didn't work with one of the other sheet music apps I use because of a recent upgrade issue. Kudos to the PageFlip people for responding quickly to my inquiry! Great customer service. I just read some of the other reviews on this page and am excited to see that some use it for advancing slides on presentations....this is a use I had never considered before, and I do a lot of presentations! Looking forward to trying it out.

Hace lo que todos.
Lo pedí porque se me había roto el antiguo. No quería arriesgarme a otra barca peor es más caro que la competencia. No me llegó a tiempo.
