Don’t buy. There better and cheaper options in the market. Not worth your money.

Sadly the bowl underneath the plastic is scratched badly and that’s very dangerous and can get rusty quickly

One of my cats has kidney disease, and my veterinarian recommended that I get a drinking fountain for her because cats like to drink from moving water, and that would get her to drink more water and would be good for her kidneys. I bought a different water fountain first which I was not impressed with because the pump was very loud, the water pressure was much stronger than it needed to be, and my cats wouldn't go anywhere near it.I was skeptical that this one would be any better, but it performs perfectly, and both of my cats started drinking from it after only a day. The only noise I hear is occasionally faint water splashing. The pump is quieter than the fan on my laptop computer.I was concerned that it might be too tall for my cats to comfortably drink from (both of my cats are on the small side at only 9 lb), but as you can see from the picture they drink from it pretty comfortably. I'm considering putting a small platform next to one side just to see if my arthritic old lady would prefer drinking from a lower height.Taking it apart to clean it is pretty simple, and I like that the top and bottom basins are stainless steel, so I feel confident about cleaning it and there is less plastic in contact with the water than in other fountains.I switched mine to Smart Mode, so the pump turns on for 3 minutes, then off for 3 minutes. There is still water in the top basin that the cats drink from when the pump turns off. In fact, I think Smart Mode entices one of my cats to drink more, because if she's walking by when it turns on, she'll go over and start drinking from it every time!I like that it continually filters all the hair, dust, cat food, cat litter, and everything else my filthy little felines regularly track into their water bowl. I usually have to dump and replace their dirty water at least once daily when they use a bowl, but this fountain keeps the water nice and clean.I also love the sleek design, it doesn't look kitschy or weird, and blends in nicely with my decor. My only disappointment was that the USB power cord did not come with a plug, but I have several extra of them laying around from other electronics so that wasn't really a big deal.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a drinking fountain for their cats.

So far so good. Easy to set up. Initially he was very curious about it and after sometime he got used to it and uses it fine. Hopefully this helps prevent him trying to drink from the sink/toilet bowl.

Obviously used. Missing filter. Wet instructions. Cleaned it up. Bought a filter and it DIED one week in. Do not recommend. Uhg.

My kitties love this fountain and I never have to worry about stagnant water for them. I do have 9 cats so I do clean it often and replace filter fairly often. Plus, I have a filtration system on my home water, so I have had no issues with the pink slime or unusual build-up that was mentioned in a previous review.That said, my pump stopped working correctly a few days before my warranty was up. I called customer service, they worked with me on all the different options, and after 6 weeks and trying to fix it (it would work but then break down again), they sent me an entire new system. So, customer service was great and always answered me in a timely fashion! Would definitely buy another if needed. Love the design too! AND I have so many USB adaptors in my house, I had no problem not receiving one with the fountain! Many things get sent these days in that way! Happy Kitties!!!
