It's not that kind of GPS. It uses a connection to determine what time zone you're in, and adjusts. It links to the atomic clock too. The process takes quite a while, and usually happens at night. Minor convenience, but pretty cool for the market they're going for. I like mine, but it's not a must have. I would recommend getting the stainless version though. The titanium one is difficult to get bands, and band parts for. Also, my clasp broke almost immediately, and my search for parts revealed that it's common. They seem to be making them intentionally fragile, so you'll have to keep sending it back for repairs.

Q: Why does it take so long to ship?

It didn’t take long for it to ship to me, I had it within a week, and I live down in the Caribbean. You have to look at who you’re buying it from, if you’re buying it directly from Amazon, and they say in stock, it ships out within 24 to 48 hours, and depending on how they ship it whether it’s USPS or UPS, or FedEx is going to determine how long it takes for it to get to you. If it comes by USPS, it could take as long as a week if it comes by UPS or FedEx. It is normally going to be 24 to 48 hours.
