Great company and product!

I've been drinking hot green tea regularly for many years. And the Gaia Herbs brand is one of the best. So I had no hesitation in ordering this supplement. One of the reasons that I drink a lot of green tea is because it contains polyphenols. And I like the convenience that this supplement offers because according to the labeling, it contains 300mg of polyphenols per serving. I also love that this brand goes the extra mile and offers supplements in protective amber glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. I like this supplement, and I recommend it.

I am very familiar with green tea supplements for weight loss, and in my opinion, the true measure of such supplements' effectiveness is the balance between price and the load of polyphenols, particularly EGCG content. The Green Tea Herbal Supplement from Gaia Store contains a blend of green tea leaf and green tea leaf extract, providing 300 mg of polyphenols per serving. However, it does not list the EGCG content, which I consider a red flag for a green tea supplement.A polyphenol content of 300 mg is average, if not slightly below average. On the positive side, this supplement is caffeine-free and doesn’t raise blood pressure, unlike some other green tea supplements. However, I question the rationale for mixing green tea leaf powder with the extract, as this combination likely reduces the polyphenol load per serving. Given these factors, I find the product not competitively priced.

I'm picky about my supplement brands. I've used many Gaia Herbs products in the past and have always been satisfied with their quality, especially considering that this brand is sold in well known natural stores that only sell the highest quality of supplements. This particular one is really great for me. I have taken green tea supplements for a long time because I have narcolepsy and energy is seriously lacking for me. I cannot speak to the antioxidant claims that they made, but I will absolutely say that I believe this is helping me with my energy levels when I need a little boost. The fact that these are liquid filled instead of powder means they kick in a lot sooner than the powder ones I have taken in the past, so I think these might be my new favorites although they cost a bit more.
