I like these because they come in a larger size than standard belly button rings. I've gained weight over the years and the standard was too tight. I got the 16mm and I weigh 230lbs, a 14mm would have fit better. The 16mm was just to be on the safe side. I'd rather go up a size and not have to return them than to have something too small. But if you're under 250lbs 14mm for your belly button should be good. 16mm if you're shorter than 5'6 at 250.

I bought these as replacements for my frog eyes piercing. Once it arrived it was very clear the balls was much more bigger. Anyone who uses these for frog eyes or snake eyes is guaranteed to end up with a chip tooth. This is more for basic belly piercings or eyebrow piercings.

The top bar is the one the piercer gave me, the bottom is what I ordered (x4).First off, the initial piece of jewelry that the piercer gave me, was basically suffocating my belly button. It was red, sore and a tad bit more painful than I expected with the healing process. I would clean it with the saline solution and salt water soaks but it just felt like something else was wrong.Not knowing that my piercer pierced my button piercing too deep, I realized I needed a longer bar to let my piercing heal properly and get some air. I bought this not knowing the difference (Got the 16mm) but with hopes that I'm ordering the correct size and longer bar. After I switch the two pieces of jewelry, my piercing started to swell less, decreased irritation, and feels better than ever. Along with the salt water soaks and saline solution cleaning, this is the best I've ever felt the last couple of days!!** Will Update if anything goes wrong but one day in, the pain has definitely decreased and redness has definitely gone down!

My piercing swell up and the initial bar was so small and was making the ball sink into my skin. Ugh, I know. I needed a longer bar and these were perfect!! I was surprised at the price but these are very good quality.
