These speaker stands really look nice, work well and are a good value. They are sturdy, I did not add sand to the base as some suggested. The only word of caution is that the holes for the screws are pre-drilled and possibly too deep. Some of the screws did not snug down tight, they acted like they were stripped even though I tightened gently by hand. I don’t expect any issues to arise though. Overall, a good purchase

I have bought several of these. They go together quickly and easily with a few tools - takes about 10 minutes. But, the base is small and so is the top for anything larger than some desktop type of speakers. I recommend that you fill the hollow stand with sand, play sand is what I used. The extra weight makes the stand much more stable. I also attached a larger foot and top since my speakers weigh 40 lbs. The vertical strength is high so it can take larger speakers. However, the stand will need a bit of a larger foot print to be more stable. Otherwise, I like them. I did buy two.

These stands are rich in color and texture. I placed a bookshelf speaker on each stand, and they are very sturdy. The wood grain is classy and blends well with my other wood furniture.
