As stated, solves my problem

Long story short, I have a very, very small pantry and the shelves are shallow with no edge to keep things from falling. I was rumaging through the pantry one day trying to get something from the back when I accidentally pushed a full glass jar of solidified coconut oil off the edge. My reflexes were not fast enough and it came crashing 4 feet down and on top of my foot. An urgent care visit, x-ray, and broken toe later, I decided I needed to take action. These were a quick and inexpensive way to give myself some extra security to make sure things stay on the shelf. (they are placed a couple inches up in the middle of every shelf, if it's hard to tell what's going in here.) The possibilities are endless, there is lots of room for creativity with these. I am very pleased and now I don't have to cringe in fear every time I open my pantry. I purchased them in brown though I wish I had done white, none the less, I'm very happy.

*** Warning - This item only has a max length of 27.5" not 28" ***I am not happy with my purchase because this could have all been avoided if not for the negligence of the seller by not knowing their product. :( :( :(The opening I needed the item for is exactly 27.5", so I figured that the 28" (as stated in the title) would give it the right amount of pressure required to hold the extension rod up along with the curtain.But the description is wrong, the rods do not open to a full 28". Now I have to go through the whole return process, which normally wouldn't be too big of a deal, but I currently have a broken leg and require the assistance of someone else to get the item to a UPS drop-off location.I did give 3 stars because the item arrived quickly, and it is fairly sturdy even with the rods being as thin as they are._______________________________________________________________________________*****Note to all sellers*****When selling items that are purchased according to the length,The "Key Requirement" is to give the "Exact Length".You simply cannot advertise the item as being one length when it is actually another._______________________________________________________________________________

Definitely a lot thinner than pictured. The ends almost have no difference in size from the rod itself. I used multiple curtains to the thinnest ones I owned and none would stay up. I would not recommend these.

Easiest tension rods I have ever used. Easy to hang and holds strong, totally worth the money.
