Can you use the confectioners-style Swerve in the place of granular Swerve in a recipe?

When a recipe calls for 1 cup granulated, you can sub in 1 3/4 cup powdered. I learned this after a 1:1 ratio in a cheesecake that just wasn't sweet enough. Make sure you adjust accordingly!

Anybody tried this with Cuisinart icer cream maker recipes?

I just made some keto ice cream in the Cuisinart ice cream maker with this stuff and it was delicious and guilt free! One tip, freshly made ice cream is soft and delicious but it will freeze really hard, like a rock. So if you want it a bit softer, use half of the amount as swerve and add other sweetener like stevia glycerite. Maria Emmerich (who's recipe I used) has more info on her website about that.

Does this have the cool, tingly sensation? I’ve noticed that taste with some other natural sweetener options.

Adding more fat to a recipe and baking or dissolving Swerve with other ingredients, all help reduce the cooling effect.

I can not eat sorbital. so probably this is out, right?

Sweet and simple and kosher friendly

I have tried a lot of sugar substitutes and this one really stands out. The texture is soft and powdery just like real powdered sugar and it mixes very smoothly into frosting and desserts. The ingredient list is simple with only erythritol oligosaccharides and natural flavor which makes me feel better about using it. It tastes clean and sweet without any strange aftertaste and it does not affect my blood sugar. I also like that it has the kosher symbol with the U in a circle so it works for people who follow those dietary rules.

Yay!

Finally, I can make some icing and not feel like I am missing out being on keto. This confectioners sugar is a great substitute. It looks and feels exactly like regular icing sugar, although it doesn’t have that choky powdery taste to it. It taste more like regular sweetener. My keto cake turned out beautiful and you could not tell the difference that it wasn’t regular confection or sugar in it..
