Great Tool
I have used this punch a number of times on steel and hard wood, works very well. I like the feel of it, very solid.

Muy debil.
Dificilmente se nota la marca que hace es muy, muy pequeña.

not overly impressed
good price but not a good value, after a dozen or so uses the spring pressure has declined drastically , At first I was very impressed with the marking ability with the punch solidly impressing a good dot. but on the same metal it has declined in its ability to do the same after only using it about 12 times . while it still makes an impression it has rapidly become almost as bad as the well worn one I bought to replace it that had been used for years and untold hundreds of times. My thoughts are that the spring quality used is defective or of the wrong specs.

Definitely worth getting if you need one
Bought this because using 2 tools (hammer and small chisel) seems dumb if you can have one that does both their jobs.I mainly use it to mark camber nuts (don't worry, I still perform a alignment afterwards, just a reference mark) so I don't screw up the camber too much, it works great, leaves a visible enough indent so I can realign later.I've also used to mark spots where it would be hard to reach with a hammer and chisel.Only CONS areSometimes it doesn't click right or as hard as normalIt's not very strong, so on stronger metals (car frames, harder steels) , you may need to use a regular chisel and hammer to make a clearer (it will make a very small mark but not big enough for drilling IMO) or if a bigger indention is required. Also thinner metals (like car panels) or things that flex, it might be hard to make a indent, due to the amount of force you need to use for the impacting hit to work (you have to push hard for the tip to impact and mark)Overall, I'd recommend it if you need it for marking things and don't want to carry a hammer and chisel around.

All Bark and NO Bite
The seller shipped quick and the item looks great. Its not as hard to make it fire as some people report and it feels beefy in your hand. BUT it just doesn't pack a punch. I took it apart and the spring is super stiff.. I cranked it all the way down to compress it as far as it would go and still it just doesn't do the job. I'm sure it's decent for wood but so is a ball point pen. It barely even marks a steel barrel band. I found myself trying to get it to mark the spot 2 and 3 times. What's the point? This thing is a dud. Nothing to see here.. move along.. this is not the autopunch you're looking for.
