Lovely for 6-7 year old girls!

魔女学校に新しい先生が赴任するが、全くやる気なしの、いい加減で変な先生。厳しい指導で恐れられているハードブルームもお冠。一方、ミルドレッドはエッスルに髪の毛を短く切られたうえ、彼女に魔法の発毛剤を作ってもらう。一見、何の関係もないこの2つの出来事がある大事件と結びついて、ミルドレッドはsave the day（窮地を救う）ことになる。愛猫のタビーは監禁され、自らも倉庫に閉じ込められて蟻に変身して脱出。でも元に戻るのに四苦八苦・・・めまぐるしい展開で、最後は・・・危ういところで魔女団の学校乗っ取りを阻止。ほんとに面白い！エンターテインメントとして傑作ですよ。

This is the 5th Worst Witch book I've read to my 6-year-old, and it doesn't disappoint. More rollicking adventures had my daughter giggling. I'm looking forward to her being able to read these books herself soon, as well.

I bought this book for my neice, its perfect and even I delighted in reading through some of it with her. The illustrations are absolutely amazing, I was stunned at one small part where it had such similarites to Harry Potter scene, and just seemed changed around or else that is a huge coincidence...I believe this edition was published recently for the U.S and found out that it was also published some time ago in the UK. Jill Murphy's books, newly discovered by my neice, are absolutely a treasure, I definitely recommend.
