Moulin RotyKids Story Flashlight / Storybook Torch - "Les Papoum"

This flashlight is delightful! The perfect size for small hands. It’s adjustable like a microscope as far as the pictures go. If it looks blurry just gently twist the top lens part until it comes into focus. My 2.5 year old makes up stories joyously to go with the pictures. It’s a great educational/creative developmental tool for young minds. It also comes with a keychain. It seems like a nice idea to keep it for getting misplaced. Very pleased with this purchase!

Super cute concept but very poor quality- one can barely make out the images because they are so blurry and a majority of them are very dull in color, making this essentially an overpriced mini flashlight.

I don’t know if mine came damaged or something but it doesn’t work.. you can barely see the images, the light is not strong enough so you can’t reflect on the ceiling, actually it has to be so close to the wall so you can barely see what it is. I’m so disappointed with this purchase…

This is really a great little idea, there are just a couple of things that I would change.The slides are colored with rather light ink and because of this, it is rather difficult to to see what the slide is. It isn't the focus, but the light, washed-out inks. The few images that have deep, rich pigments are just gorgeous but they are few.It looks and feels kind of delicate, but it takes a bit of abuse in stride. I am pleasantly surprised.My two year old can manipulate it (under my supervision) and it is a good size for such small hands.The batteries that came with the light (thank you for those) went dry quickly and started to leak a bit. Luckily, the LR44 button batteries are cheap on amazon. $5 for 20 of them, I believe. The toy takes 3 at a time.Overall, I would definitely buy it again as a gift for a child once they can manipulate delicate things if the pigment on the slide was only a bit deeper, a bit more vivid.

Thumbs down. The slide projections are totally out of focus no matter what you do. I’m very disappointed. I thought this toy would be so cool.
