Worth the price for starting seedlings! My seeds sprouted wonderfully.

Started some seeds with this mix and the tomatoes are already up . Exotic peppers taking a lot longer to germinate.

Good starter mix

I experimented with two seed starter mixes. This mix germinated 3 to 4 days faster than the seed packets said it would take, whereas the other mix either didn't germinate at all or it took 2 to 3 days longer than the packet said. Even my peppers germinated super fast!!! With my homemade greenhouses the mix stayed moist for about 3 days, then I had to water everything. I absolutely will use this everytime I start from seed and I'd highly recommend it to other gardeners.

There is wood and stuff that can cover a seed and prevent it from growing if your not careful

This starter soil was recommended to me by a Master Gardener. It was pricey, but is high quality and worth its higher price

First time this year that I used this mix after I read many good things about it. And the results are amazing. When I started my seeds, the soil did not seem to be that much different to others. Maybe a little more moisture in it, but I still needed to add water. Not as fine as others, but not with major sticks in it either.Now I use a heat mat and a grow light, and I used some old and some new seeds, but ALL tomatoes were emerged after 4 days. Peppers took a little longer, but still earlier than I expected. Since then all plants grew better than I have ever seen it. It seems to hold moisture just in the right way, enough so I don't have to water every day, but drains well enough to not risk moss growth or accidental over-watering.I for one will never use any other seed starting mix anymore, and in fact, when transplanting some plants last weekend, I also purchased their potting soil.
