Bought an extra large for my husky/blue heeler. Could’ve went up a size but he was cute nonetheless. If you pup is a chewer, they will tear it.

I recently adopted a 13yr old super senior pomchi from the shelter and he only has one eye left so I had to buy him this shirt!! It’s very cute but very poor quality. It’s see-through- you can see his fur color/color pattern thru the fabric. And it’s cut awkwardly and pills up easily even when hand washed. The sizing is awkward also. Roro is 14lbs and his measurements are: Neck 12”, Chest 18”, Length 14”. The Medium is too big and the neck is WAAAAY too big so the shirt falls down his shoulders. The length is good. And the Small fits his neck better but is waaaaay too short (like a crop top) and tight on his chest. It also bunches up under his armpits. But the fabric is a flimsy poly blend so it stretches easily. Too easily imho. I’ll review the Small separately but they really needed to create better sizing/more options because the 3 options available (S/M/L) are waaaay too far apart in measurements. So if your dog is in between sizes it’ll either fall off his shoulders (M) or ride up under his armpits (S) and you can’t read the writing. But hey, I ONLY BOUGHT THIS AND KEPT IT BECAUSE MY DOG ONLY HAS ONE EYE. How could I resist?! Pics are of Roro in the size MEDIUM. I was hoping it would shrink in the dryer in a lingerie bag after hand washing but it’s obviously mostly polyester so it didn’t shrink and I have to sew darts/pleats into the collar to make it smaller and try to keep it from falling down his shoulders :/ Horrible quality, extremely thin, poorly stitched and definitely a novelty shirt vs functional one. I also find it off putting that others received an extra free shirt and I didn’t. AFAIK this item is being d/c’d and I would’ve liked a freebie too so I can play around with the sewing and try to make it fit better but don’t want to ruin my one shirt. The cost for the quality of this item is way too high also. This is more like a $5 drugstore quality shirt :(
