It doesn't solves the purpose, it cannot lift heavy object as the length of the head of the lifting pan( which you have to put under heavy objects) is too short and hence it keeps on slipping and may even damage the wooden furniture as the moment you will apply force it will slip out breaking the wooden furniture...Would have solved the problem if head was lengthy to put under furniture or heavy object.Roller wheels are okay but wont recommend for heavy objects as its made of plastic.
