To deter dog chewing furniture and rugs, shoe laces etc. It did not phase him at all!A orher product wirh bitter Apple seeming yo work with a very strong Oder. This one has no bad deterrence oder at all - worthless.Please refund.

We have a new dog and we sprayed this stuff on some things that she has been constantly biting and chewing on. It made no difference. I had heard this about similar products too. I find that this spray has not stopped or discouraged our dog from biting or chewing on the things we sprayed. Perhaps it is just our dog or what we sprayed, but bottom line is this product did not serve as any kind of deterent.

Our isn't a voracious chewer, in fact she only chews on three things: Her leash, Shoe laces and one particular leg of a dinner table. This spray has stopped her from the behavior and I highly recommend it! Depending on the time since you last sprayed and the material you are spraying you may need to reapply the spray more or less frequently until your dog "has gotten the message"Tips:Try to create an opportunity that your dog likes to chew and spray the item just before that. For instance, our dog lies to chew her leash while she is waiting for me to take her on a walk. so I applied it to the leash just prior to the walk and forced her to wait a bit to get her to try to chew the leash.
