Hitting Jack-It (21oz)

Q: Does the 21 oz weight go around the skinny part of the bag so you can hit with it on

The weight sits on the tapered portion of the bat, inbetween the grip and the barrel so that you can still hit with it. I would advise using the hitting jack-it while doing tee work and maybe soft/front toss with it on as long as the hitter can consistently put the barrel on the ball. I would not use it during overhand batting practice.
