S.M.S.L M200 Uses AK4497EQ Chip,Support UAT/aptX-HD/AAC/SBC High-Resolution Bluetooth 5.0 Audio DAC

I'd been using a cheap DAC to power my JBL LSR 308p mkii and LSR 310 sub using RCA to 1/4". Swapping over to the SMSL DAC added an extra depth and clarity that I wasn't getting before, the airiness of the sound completely transformed and gives a very detailed and pleasing sound. Whilst it gives a very level flat spectrum there is no fatigue from listening over a long day. I'd highly recommend using the XLR out's as they completely removed the noise that was being picked up from my USB ports and the difference between RCA was night and day.The connectivity on this is great, I purchased this so I can have it attached to my desktop and have my laptop plug in via USB and phone via Bluetooth without having to rearrange any cables.Looking forward to getting the paired headphone amp to use with my HD600's

Fantastic little DAC and a supeerb match for the SMSL SP200 headphone amplifier. I'm using with Hifiman 5XX from DROP and the combo for these powerful units is sublime.Detail, soundstage and perfect bass. Excellent.

Inizio col dire che il pacco è arrivato aperto ma fortunatamente all'interno non mancava nulla.Acquistato per sostituire il mio amato odac e affascinato da una scheda tecnica di tutto rispetto e da tanti ingressi disponibili.Non avevo grosse aspettative ma non pensavo potesse suonare così male.Dettaglio accettabile e una scena sonora abbastanza ampia per il resto calma piatta, freddo, bassi inesistenti, privo di verve emozionale, scena poco credibile. Rispedito indietro di corsa, sperando che con il Topping d50s vada meglio.

Ho preso questo dac in sostituzione del M7 che avevo. Il vecchio M7 era meglio sotto tutti i punti di vista, l' M200 appena acceso restituisce molti dettagli, ma i medi sono un pò arretrati (come se applicasse una Vshape) e la ricostruzione spaziale non è esagerata, tutto suonava più concentrato spazialmente e meno bilanciato. Detto questo è comunque un gran bel suonare, un salto quantico rispetto a qualsiasi DAC budget, e forse con un pò di rodaggio e con un alimentatore degno di questo nome sarebbe migliorato. Passo a provare altro...poi si vedrà.

Iniziamo dall'aspetto negativo ovvero l'accensione da telecomando non sempre avviene al primo colpo.Di buono, anzi ottimo, il suono di questo DAC (anche comparato ad altri SABRE in mio possesso). Molto buona la versatilità in termini di ingressi e di filtri ,per quanto alla mia età, non si percepisca poi molto l'effett, e e la gestione DSD nativa.Non posso esprimere giudizi su Bluetooth in quanto da me non utilizzato.
