I cannot recommend - spline is too large for 1/16" slot
As an avid arcade hobbyist, I've built many arcade cabinets over the years and have installed hundreds of feet of T-molding. Looking at the specs of this material, a typical 1/16" slot cutter SHOULD work but it does not. The spline in this material is just a bit too wide to fit at all. I ruined several feet of this material initially as the spline would just bend and break while installing. I've never had to put so much effort into even attempting to install T-molding. The only way I was able to make this work was to sand out the slot all the way around. Luckily, I needed less than 10 feet for the particular project I was using this on. This step should not be required as my 1/16" slot cutter has worked flawlessly with various brands of T-molding I've utilized over the years. I bought this material based on so many good reviews and quick availability. Perhaps this was a bad extrusion run but I would never order this material again and I suggest you consider carefully whether you should.

Not for a 3/32" slot
Came with a full 25' and was a tough product that was easy to work with. Unfortunately, I took the product at face value and after cutting and routing a complicated piece of wood for a cocktail arcade cabinet, I tried inserting this and it pulled out with zero effort. I had to wrap the spine with electrical tape to get it to stick and then it still slowly pulled itself out in some of the tighter corners. For the rest of the machine, I cut a 1/16" slot and folded a piece of sandpaper to slightly open it up. Test it before you make the same mistake.

What I was looking for but do not bend well, very stiff!! Had to use a nail to hold it in place!
Easy to use, fit nicely and we're cost effective! But do NOT bend well! I needed to use a nail to hold it in at the bend!

very nice edge profile
I've used iron on edge banding for many projects and it is OK for edges that don't get too much "service". I used this product on a project where I knew the edge would get banged a bit. I had to buy a new router bit to cut the slot the the barbed T but that was only $20+. Once the router is tuned to cut a the proper depth so the slot is EXACTLY in the middle of the board, it goes quickly. I used a 1/16th inch slot cut in 3/4 melamine. The fit was so tight I could not push the barb in by hand but tapping with plastic dead blow hammer worked very well. I was very happy with the finished product it looks much better than iron on edge banding. It is however MUCH more expensive, comparing pricing in November of 2020 for 3/4" 250 foot rolls iron on is about .12 per foot Tee barb is .36 per foot

Installs as directed.
Product installed exactly as directed. In areas where the grove had become too large, tape worked well.
