Excellent Company and Product
I have been buying umbrellas for many years. A few times I bought non Totes umbrellas and the quality was very questionable. I have only bought Totes for a long time and the quality is always very and consistent.

Works great. I like the auto open when getting out of the car
I've always had manual open umbrellas but I like the auto-open feature on this one for when I get out of the car. It's a tad heavy for backpacking but I'll find something different for that.

Missing cover
I bought this umbrella as an extra one for my car. I was disappointed to find out I didn’t get the cover that was shown in the picture. Looking at the pictures, it looks like everyone else got a cover with their umbrellas

Just what I wanted - Easy Open and Easy Close and collapse, even for me.
My pretty Totes umbrella just arrived, in time for Hurricane Ida whose remnants will visit New Jersey tomorrow when I have to go out. The big test for me was can I close it and collapse it easily. The last automatic umbrella I had was so hard to collapse that I had to push it against a wall to collapse it. Really hard when it's pouring and you're trying to get in your car. As soon as I opened this one, I was so happy to find that when I pushed the button it opened to a size that will keep me dry and when I pushed the button to close it and I pushed the bottom, it collapsed easily, and I didn't have to use brute strength that I don't have. Thanks Totes, this one is a winner. This New Jersey great grandmother approves.

This item broke. I used it once. I am disappointed that I cannot return for a refund at this point.
I had high hopes for this umbrella, as it is a name brand and it did seem like a solid construction. But, the string that runs along inside the pole broke when I pressed the button to open the umbrella. There is no repairing this, and the return date has passed. I would not recommend this umbrella, and I will not buy this brand again. Once. I used this umbrella once, and it cost me over $30. Not impressed.
