Good Quality and Great Price!
These containers are PERFECT for BBQ's where you have a bunch of pulled pork or brisket made and want to send friends/family home with leftovers. They do have a couple small flaws, but instead of having to send everyone home with your best Tupperware, these do the job! You get 200 containers for less than $30. That's .14 a piece. You really can't get any cheaper than that. If you are looking for something better for the environment, these are made of compostable paper which is pretty sturdy. The only thing I don't find sturdy is the little tab to keep them shut and when removing them from the boxes. If you pull them out individually from the 2 stacks, you'll find that you may rip one. You have to pull them out at the right angle. They also are not air-tight, so don't expect to store things in these for a while. I got them just to store some leftover cake and bbq sandwhiches in. They work well for that. You can even microwave in these without issue. We will be using these for making sandwiches when we go out on the motorcycle, not having to throw away trash or bring tupperware we have to wash. These can be recycled easily because of the compost ability. 5 stars for price and quality for these!

Thick containers that hold smaller sandwiches/burgers nicely
I got these to hold food for our college daughter because my wife prepares small meals and other food items for her. These work great for sandwiches and burgers very nicely because they're fairly deep. The lid stays open long enough to get the food into there and once in, the lid closes with a pretty good seal and not much gap around it.We tried putting things like rice into it, but the moisture didn't do so well in there. We also discovered that sandwiches with lettuce/tomatoes also caused the box to get soft. We found a way around this by placing plastic wrap in there to line it, which helps quite a bit. These stack well so long as the box on top of it isn't too heavy. Some of the hinges on these lids were very thin, almost like they were torn so opening/closing them ripped those areas pretty easily. But we worked around this by using tape to reinforce those areas. These overall are handy to have and we appreciate that they eco friendly.

sturdy compared to styrofoam as well as microwavable and decomposable - good value
Product: Compostable Hinged Lid Food Containers 6x6 Inch 100 Count (Pack of 2) 200 Total by Hefty ECOSAVEThese Hefty ecosave line food containers are a winner compared to polystyrene based foam food containers. Firstly these are compostable which is a big win both for nature as well for health. Secondly these are microwavable and the styrofoam containers release harmful substance and not recommended to microwave. Finally, these are sturdy compared to styrofoam and won't snap or crack like they do.These are also reasonable price at around 14cent a piece at the time of this review and I feel there is a good value to use this product. These are around 6 inch square boxes as seen in pictures. The best part is since it is compostable and made of paper, one can reuse the box for planting seeds and transplant the same without the need of removing it from the container.

Great storage for food or leftovers to go
Hefty Compostable Hinged Lid Food Containers 6 x 6", 100 Count, Pack of 2When I go to a friend of mine’s home for a holiday, she always reminds me to bring something for some leftovers. Well, now I’m ready for some serious leftovering. These Hefty containers are a good size for side dishes, small meats and deserts. The quality of these little tubs is quite good and the bonus is they’re compostable. So if you have such a thing in your back yard, you’re good to go. Just follow the rules so you don’t wind up with a stinky pile or attract rodents. Is these don’t truly seal so maybe get some rubber bands to use with them. Overall I like these very much and can’t wait to use them for the above reason. I do recommend them for your food traveling needs.

Much better for environment than the old foam containers
These Hefty Ecosave Sandwich Containers were available to me through the Amazon Vine program. The containers are environmental friendly, being made from plant-based materials and are 100% compostable at industrial facilities (but not in your backyard compost pile). The containers measure about 6”x6”x3.5”, with the inside bottom of the container measuring about 3.75”x3.75”. At a glance, they look a bit pricey. However, the set includes 2 bags of 100-count containers, so it (currently) calculates out to only $0.14/container. The containers are fairly sturdy. They have hinged lids and are microwavable. They are great for take-out, delivery, picnic lunches, leftovers and more. And best of all, no dishes to wash! These containers are made in China.

Good containers for personal use, probably too expensive for a business
These Hefty 100% compostable sandwich containers are better for the environment than styrofoam ones, but at cost of $0.20 each, I think most restaurants would not be able to afford these. But for home use I think they are great. I can use these to take a small salad, sandwich, or dessert to work. Or if I have some friends over for dinner, I can use these to let them take some leftover food with them. Because they are small, it's easy to fit them in your refrigerator. It will probably take me a long time to use all 200 containers that I received, but I am happy I had the chance to try something that is both useful and good for the environment. I will recommend these to my friends.
