I like cotton, the color/pattern on the bedspread, and it is lightweight. I debated whether to assign this bedspread two stars or three because the smell is overwhelming. I have washed and dried it twice and still the rubber tire smell prevails. My bedroom smells like a tire showroom.

After searching for a quilt that was soft, lightweight and not cheap looking, this one fits the bill. Unlike the polyester one we ordered, this one is much more comfortable and also beautiful. The thickness is perfect for us, as we can get warm at night and wanted something breathable. I would definitely recommend this.

I love Laura Ashley products, but some of her bedspreads have been slightly rough to the touch. I love blue, so when I saw that this was considered softer than most cotton bedspreads, I was excited to see if it was really true. I was not disappointed. It is soft right from the package, but I also first washed it with some natural fabric softener and it became even more soft. I used to use polyester fuzzy blankets on my bed because they were so soft, but I switched to all natural, so I was excited to have a bedspread that was cotton, natural, AND soft! And yes it is short on the sides, but that is because it is really not bedspread but a quilt or coverlet. You will need a dust ruffle to go with it. It is a medium to lighter weight that works well for both summer and winter. You will probably not even need a blanket, as this works well as a blanket too.

Expected better fabric quality from Laura Ashley given the price and name recognition. It is pretty but the fabric isn’t substantial. Don’t expect long term wear from this product .

I love this set! We had a “summer duvet” w/ a lightweight duvet cover set…my husband was cold, I was hot as…well, you know lol. Purchased this set and both of us are MUCH more comfortable. Just a suggestion- white, crisp sheets compliment this set beautifully 😍! Also, a queen size ( which is what we purchased) is actually a true QUEEN size. No more running back and forth trying to figure out which side has “too much quilt, or not enough” lol. Definitely will buy again!!!

I love the pattern of the fabric. It is a good weight for the winter. I would have preferred continuous sewing to attach cover to fill rather than intermittent blocks of sewing. I hven't washed it yet so we shall see how the fill reacts to washing. My old Laura Ashley comforter is till going after 28 years. I doubt this one will last as long.

Exactly like the picture. But I bought King for a Queen bed because I like the drop at the sides of the bed to be longer than a reg. queen set. The drop goes to the railing of the bed so it hides the top of the skirt on the box spring. It is soft, light and beautiful. Very happy with it.

This was the perfect quilt set for my 85 year old Mom’s bed at our cottage. She’s been using old, mismatched quilts and comforters for years calling it ‘camp’ but this year I’m redoing the place in a shabby chic garden theme and started with her bed. I want her to feel like the Lady she is! Her accent colour around the cottage is cobalt blue (pretty glass ornaments and vases mostly) and this quilt set compliments the style. The quilt is so light and soft but good quality and great for summer. The ability to reverse the quilt gives me more choices for presentation. I’m very happy with the purchase!

Love the light weight and summery look of this quilt. Very pretty. If it was just a little bit wider I would not need a bed skirt.
