Schylling Little Doctor Stehoscope - Pretend Play (LDSS)

So I guess it’s my fault I should have read the description of a child’s toy THOROUGHLY. I wanted to buy a TOY for my 3 year old child. This says “little doctor” and it’s for kids 3 and up but it actually works. It is very loud and I’m afraid it will damage my baby’s hearing. I own a real stethoscope and wanted to buy a toy so my daughter won’t keep asking to play with a real thing. Now I have 2 real stethoscopes to hide from her. Misleading packaging

It’s metal and it’s cute. It doesn’t sit in ears very well. The metal is flimsy enough that the ears want to warp their way out. Wether it’s on my daughter or myself it does the same thing.It’s far from comfortable with it trying to jump out of your ears.My little girl loves it for everything but wearing.::EditSome bending and messing with it and now she loves it. For the most part it will stay in her ears.The pad and ring like to pop out. I encourage just a little bit of glue to hold it in place

I would not recommend this to anyone who wants a 'working toy stethoscope' because it doesn't work. Also it will require adjustment in terms of bending the arms capped with the ear plugs. Out of the box, the arms with the ear pieces are so close together that the pressure from the arms hurts when you release them to set into your ears. The bottomline is you simply can not hear a heartbeat with this product. On the plus side, it is a cute design but it would only be worth the cost if it actually worked.

This would not stay together. The screw on round part seems to not have enough grip to stay on, the rubber parts connecting to the metal would continually fall off. I don't know if I got a bad one or not, but this didn't work out for my 3 year old. You can hear a heartbeat. If you listen carefully, so that worked!

Gift for my 3 year old nephew. He loves playing a doctor
