Could not install one cap due to damaged threads

The product worked fine for me

Product was screwed on by “professional” when car serviced after I reported “they seem to fall off easily” - 2 of the 4 still fell off after driving 50-100 miles- I live rurally and driving 100 miles per week is not uncommon.

That even with a low pressure tire, the green will be showing giving you a false reading

This type of valve cap opens the valve in order to measure the tire pressure. So, unlike "normal" valve caps, this type of valve cap has to be always tight so that air does not leak around it, and flatten the tire.Also the plastic on the valve cap itself has to be completely sealed, or it it will create a tire leak. One of the four caps I received had a leak in the clear plastic part, and it was almost impossible to find the "tire leak" because there was no tire leak, the leak was in the valve cap..These valve caps apparently have a reputation for leaking, and need to be made with better care, quality control, and better quality plastic..

Do not buy or use these !!!!!!! They will explode off of the valve stem, or release tire pressure a d tires go flat overnight…please remove them from your tires if you are using them. Just do not buy them !!! I almost brought another set for my granddaughter before my tire went down overnight with these on my tires..buyer beware !!!!

I put eight of these on my car & truck and now that I've had a few months experience it's obvious that they have created 3 flat tires. I will skip the details but I will guarantee you if you buy these you are going to have a problem with them.

I installed these on my car went outside the next morning and had a flat took the tire to get fixed and the store showed me what was wrong the cap had a crack in it this was why the tire went flat.
