Absolutely superb! The puzzle is extremely well made the pieces fit together snugly, you can actually pick up the finished puzzle without glueing it together. That being said, you can also put pieces in the wrong place. This because they are all basically the same color and share similar shapes. You can usually tell a misplaced piece when adjoining pieces won't fit.I am a bibliophile and have several puzzles with a book or library theme. This one has be be my favorite. Now the bad, The bottom half was fairly easy to put together and gave me great pleasure as it came together. The roof a nightmare! I will not fault the puzzle or withdraw stars because I didn't enjoy doing the roof, some people enjoy a real challenge, just a personal preference. In the end I had two holes and two pieces left over that wouldn't fit in those spots, I had to give it til morning to find the misplaced piece, it worked rearranged the pieces and viola! it was done what a relief. I am also an Edward Gorey fan, so this puzzle is the ultimate in many respects.

We've been looking for a puzzle that would challenge us, and this is it. The tiny black and white etchings of the drawing are just what we needed to take our puzzling to the next level. This puzzle come in 500 pieces and easily rivals the 1,000 piece puzzles we've had in the past. It's taken us much longer to complete, but it's a gift we're thankful for. Great quality pieces, strong matte finish. Highly recommended.

Such a great puzzle to pass the time during the COVID-19 quarantine. The pieces are extremely well made, they don't bend when pieced together. The detail on this puzzle was so intricate it took quite a while to complete! Highly recommended.

Very well made puzzle. Pretty challenging given the image. Only reason not 5 stars is that several of the pieces fit really well into the wrong spot, no gaps or anything. So that made it even harder but also a bit frustrating at times.

Perfect for gifting.

This is a great puzzle that isn't too difficult despite its only being black, white and grey. Be aware, though, that puzzle pieces can fit in multiple locations. Get a good strong light so you can see whether a piece actually belongs where it fits. Fun theme and a great picture.

I love this puzzle bc the pieces are thicker than some pieces so they fit together better.

This was my first Pomegranate puzzle and it was perfect. I bought this in October because I was searching for a spooky-themed puzzle that wasn't too childish. When I first saw this puzzle I homed in on the Dracula figure and the other very small demon-ish figures arranged around him. Besides that there is nothing but a seemingly endless swath of black and grey tiles right? Wrong! What I loved best about this puzzle was that all of the textured area became their own "zone" because though it may seem the same at first glance once you start paying attention to the direction and heaviness of strokes you know just where each piece should go.

A great jigsaw - kept me busy for a long time. Very difficult to do as the pattern and colour are so similar throughout all the pieces but loved the challenge of piecing it together. Looks so good when finished that I’m going to get it framed.

This is a great puzzle. I found it quite challenging because of the lack of colour but loved it despite this. Great quality puzzle as well.
