As others have mentioned, this wig is very thick and heavy, uncomfortably so. I also don't like the middle part, which is gray cloth and looks very fake. However, the braids themselves look okay, so I decided to keep it.First, I thinned it by cutting out some of the braids. I also cut off about 4 inches in length. I then braided the wig into several large braids, dipped them in boiling hot water for 20 seconds, let them dry overnight, and then unbraided them. This gave the wig a nice wavy texture that I really like. I also darkened the cloth part with foundation, but it still looks fake. So when I wear the wig I arrange and pin the braids in a way that covers most of the cloth or wear a cute sun hat over it.I've gotten several compliments on this wig, but just know that it does not look good straight out the box. You will need to customize it.

I like the quality of the braids...My only issue is that these units by WOW are TOO top heavy. The braid density in the top at the crown and forehead areas is way too much whereas the back is very sparse and widely spaced. I get the fullness they are trying to portray however the distribution of braids needs to be better, if that makes sense. I'm afraid to cut or thin it out because so many of the braids seem to be stitched together. Removing one lead to four slipping out. Also because of the weight of these units, they really need a back comb to help stabilize the install. Those adjustable straps are useless as they pop loose as soon as you apply the unit. The two side combs are placed at the perceived ear tabs also problematic because any adjustment causes them to disengage and the unit is not secure. They idea of the braid wig is fantastic, but these design flaws should be addressed; IMO.I do like the wig, it's just not little head friendly. I will be restructuring it to suit my specific needs. Would I recommend - yea why not?

I really do like this wig. It does look natural. It's not too heavy but it's not light either. Th cap is a bit snuggy but I can work with it.I like micro braids. I just don't like sitting in the salon all day plus this helps me keep my edges.This is an 'A' for me.I have the 22 inches in the color 2.

Beautiful braids! I’m bold in front of my head but have a head full of head in back. To be completely honest, you have to sew it and tape the front if you don’t have hair in the front. If you have a head full of hair, you can use the combs and sew the back in. The only style you can do is wearing it out or in a low ponytail. You can also but some hair to the back as well. Please do understand that the wig is full up top and in the middle which is okay otherwise the wig will be very heavy. It a good purchase for the price and it a nice wig once you play around with it and install it as you wish.
