Infinity KAPPA753T 3/4" (19mm) Edge-Driven Silk Dome Tweeter

Love my new tweeters. They fit perfectly in my 2013 F150 pillars. Replaced the garbage Ford tweeters. They even look awesome.I love Infinity got the Kappa 6×8s in all 4 doors too. With no amp they cam keep up with my Dual 12" subs on 8000 watts.

I bought these to replace a brand new set of Rockford Fosgate PEI dome tweeters in our convertible car. The wind noise can be a challenge so good tweeters are a necessity for enjoyable tunes at speed. Unfortunately the RF PEIs were seriously harsh and made most music unbearable at higher volumes. Once installed these Infinity Kappa soft silk dome tweeters proved themselves to be far superior in every way. The highs are clear, detailed, and without the harshness of metal (titanium, aluminum) or plastic (Mylar, polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic) materials. I’ll never stray again!

But I could not imagine using them in a two way setup. They are 3/4” so they can play below around 6k without breaking up. I’m using Infinity’s 2” done for a 3 way front stage and the tweeters adds the sparkle that the system needs.

So one tweeter is on point the other is straight shot. Tried resealing where it mounts and dynamaxin it but the distortion is beyond fixing. Great deal if it’s not a 50/50 gamble on the tweet being shot. Like Fr the good one hits but I had to unplug it while going to work cause I couldn’t stand the disgusting distortion coming from the busted one.
