I got this to wear my old wedding band on. (Well, my man-gagement ring, if you want the truth.) I don't wear it every day, but it doesn't tarnish like silver would without daily wearing. It's sturdy -- I haven't broken it yet -- and it's comfortable. I worried that it would yank out any stray hairs on my neck or chest, and it doesn't do that at all. The color is not the same thing as silver. It's the same basic color, but looking at it next to silver, it is not the same as silver. It is, however, silver-like, and without silver next to it, you'd probably never notice that it's not silver. I like the color -- it's a bit grittier and less jewelry-like than silver, and definitely easier to care for.One note on sizing, though. I wear about a 17.5-18-inch neck size in shirts. I got a 24-inch chain, and it's just fine as a fit, but a little shorter than I thought it would be. when it's around my neck, the chain comes down only two or three inches from my throat. When you're choosing your length, decide how far down you want the chain to extend below your throat. Take that number and multiply it by 2. Then add the circumference of your neck to that number. So if your neck is about 17 inches in circumference (i.e., you wear a size 17 dress shirt), and you want the chain to go five or six inches below your throat, you'd want about a 26-30-inch chain.I ordered another chain, this time a 30-inch one, because I want the option of something longer. That doesn't mean I'm remotely dissatisfied with my 24-inch chain.

I ordered this to wear daily while at work with an Indian wedding pendant added at its clasp. Wedding necklaces from India are made of 22K yellow gold chains and black beads, so I find it difficult to match it with any costume jewelry worn at work. I tried Italian white gold but unfortunately It broke & I lost the chain. I also bought Sterling silver but of course it tarnished. Then I found this stainless steel chain, which I hope will last & look like new for a long time. I ordered a 24" inch length so I can wear it with the length helping to hide the 22k yellow gold pendant beneath the neckline. I added a second steel hook which I can clip on to the bales of the pendant from either side, and the necklace can be taken off without unhooking it. I remove it nightly so it will not get pulled & break accidentally. Will post any further reviews if it works or not for me. Thanks for all candid reviews!

I've bought a couple pendants made of Stainless steel and though the 22" chains where ok and decent quality for a grown man over six foot tall 22 inches is just too short. I bought a 30" chain from this seller and it was too long but the look and feel of the 30" 2.4mm chain was a good match for the pendants. So I bought two 24" chains one 3.1 and a 24" 2.4mm, and this is the best solution I've found for the few pendants I have.Over opinion is they're well made chains that will work without a problem on virtually any stainless steel pendant a guy would own. The 3.1mm adds enough over the 2.4mm to use for larger pendants and still look good. I saw that on one of my pendants the 2.4mm looked like it was made for it, but same thing can be said for the two inch cross I have on now with the 3.1mm chain. After buying a few chains that had huge hooks, or where just poorly made. So it's nice to find a source with good prices and selection. I would recommend these chains to my best friend without a second thought.

I loved how it was shipped and arrived in a timely manner and it didn't take long for me to receive it. I chose the 22 inch chain based on how the length chart showed where it would be at around the neck. After receiving the necklace and putting my pendants on it I've been wearing it ever since and like that I'm not getting a green ring around my neck like other necklaces I've worn. However, I find that I should have bought the 24 inch chain or the next size from the 24 as the 22 inch is shorter than I expected it to be. Overall it suffices my need for now and I can always get another size later.

Be aware that this will only work with charms with very large jump rings. The clasp loops is too big to fit through most of my charms.

Beautiful chain at a great price. Looks like it would hold up forever. I bought it for my daughter to replace the chain that came with her necklace that pulls her hair. I went with the rope chain for that reason since they do not roll. I also wanted something pretty but tough. This chain is exactly all of that and she loved it. The only problem is the jump ring is too big to go through the bail of the pendant. This is a great buy and you will not be disappointed as long as you consider this in your purchase.

I was looking for a heavier chain to use to wear some of my larger pendants and wanted it nice and long. Silver is so hard for me to keep clean so I decided to go with stainless steel. This chain fit the bill perfectly and at a fraction of the price of a silver chain. I'd give it five stars is the clasp was just a teensy bit smaller. It looks lovely on and I don't have to worry about keeping it clean.

The chain is nice. Its not as shiny as sterling silver, but its nice, never the less; and since its so sturdy and low maintenance, you can't beat it. The main problem I had with it, was that it was to small. I ordered the 16 inch chain and it wouldn't fit around my neck. I measured it, and it was only 14 inches in length. Also the chain was too large at the end to put my pendants on. If you take all of that into consideration, its a nice chain. I wanted an 18 inch chain, so I've ordered the 20 inch, I haven't received it yet, so I don't know if my calculations are correct.
