B.O.B BARS OVER BOTTLESSolid Shampoo Bar (Detox)

I have thick straight strands of hair, and my scalp gets oily pretty easily. The shampoo has significantly improved oil build-up and now it takes longer for my scalp to feel/look greasy. But then it doesn't dry out my hair either -- my hair is healthy and shinier than ever! I visibly notice less hair loss in the shower too. It smells great, and foams up easily.

I ordered a few of these shampoo and conditioner bars to try and I love them. My hair feels and looks so soft and clean. I've been using these for over a month and there is still half a bar left (one shampoo and one conditioner). Thanks for a sustainable healthy product that really works and that I can feel good about using.Edit: 2 Shampoo bars and 2 conditioner bars have now lasted me over 6 months and I still have about 2 months or so left before the product runs out. How amazing that these last soooo long!I will say I'm a little disappointed though that the price has more than doubled since making my purchase back in July. :( Don't get me wrong. The fact it lasts so long and is nourishing and healthy is wonderful and worth it. I just don't get why the price has more than double per bar. It's getting harder and harder to afford anything anymore.

Convenient and compact for travel. Excellent hair cleaning and pleasant scalp tingle. I would recommend a conditioner bar to follow up if you have longer hair.

Nice quality bar shampoo - I believe good quality ingredients and very great for traveling. No bottles to try to carry on flight! Perfect for this. Nice fragrance - no perfumes & actually when I travel I use this bar soap all over - why not? I've used both the Moisture blend and particularly like the blend for Curly - I have grey curly fine hair & it's very nice...the Curly Leave-In Conditioner is awesome. I rinse lightly - and then reapply to just the ends and this works wonderfully to keep soft curls intact. I'd totally reccomend these products for hair care

Only concern us the amount if product?? Orher brands offer larger bars for same costs

I've used several different shampoo bars to help reduce the plastic waste in my household. I have long plain hair, usually in a pony tail and I never blow dry, let alone straighten or curl. My point is that I don't really expect much from my shampoo beyond cleansing. But this B.O.B bar kinda blew my mind. The first time I used this bar, my hair was very very dirty with excise sweat and DAYS of dry shampoo buildup. I was totally expecting to wash twice for a complete cleanse. But after the first rinse, my hair felt really clean AND moisturized. I typically apply conditioner to the bottom half of my hair, I Rarely skip this step because my hair usually feels a bit roughed up from the shampoo. Again, I have long hair and I wash maybe twice a week. For the first time EVER, my hair felt plenty moisturized after just one wash with the B.O.B bar, so I skipped the conditioner.My Hair dried SO BEAUTIFULLY. Its soft and has volume. I didn't even need to run a brush through it. I gave up on these type of results a long time ago, especially after transitioning from bottles to bars. All I really came to expect was clean hair. But the BOB bar far exceeded my expectations. I purchased the Purify Bar.And its a good value. Its frustrating to see bars so expensive, how does anyone expect the average woman to do away with the plastic when they can buy like 4 bottles of shampoo from the grocery store for the cost of 1 bar?Anyway, I 100% recommend this product. I have tried three of the shampoo bars and one of the conditioner bars from this company. The performance of the Moisturizing shampoo bar is perfect for curly hair, and I absolutely love the scent. It wears out much faster than the matching conditioner, though--I would estimate one conditioner bar for every three shampoo bars.The Intense conditioner is very nice, but it leaves a little residue, so I tried both the Purifying and Detox bars to reset my hair every few shampoos. The Purifying is really great, with green clay and a nice peppermint scent, but I do NOT recommend the Detox bar if you are sensitive to smells at all. It has an overwhelming patchouli odor that filled the whole room when I opened the package.All in all, I'd say they're a little overpriced for what is essentially a bar of soap, but I will keep buying them because they're quality.

I’ve been using shampoo and conditioner bars for years and saw all these good reviews on this product, but unfortunately it’s not for me. I have thick long hair and this bar isn’t very sudsy , once i finally get it one it’s hard to come out. I’m having to wash my hair longer and still comes out feeling greasy, in fact I had to use regular bottle shampoo to dry out my hair from the oils. Hope it works for you but in my case it was not a good choice.
