It worked excellent

I really like this bow hoist, but I don't like the metal carabiner on the end of it. It's to noisy against your bow, and to heavy. I'll be swapping it out with something lighter.

The first time I used this I went up to my blind fine. After the hunt was done, I hooked my bow up to it to lower it the ground safely as this should. To my surprise my bow went straight to the ground 20’ down. The threads just completely fell apart. This was NEW and stored in my bag. Nothing came close to it this thing is a piece of garbage. I have to sight my bow in again now cause This fell apart. My arrows came out and I have to see if there are any cracks in my limbs now. So mad at the lack of quality in this. Thank GOD I didn’t have a rifle on the other end!!!!

This product is way, way below any standards. Unwinds in the backpack. Don’t have a stop to assist is winding up have to use force the get anything up while hunting it is easier to just use a simple rope. Or even better a big dog self retractable lease (15ft minimum) too bad I’m out hunting and can’t this returned

I just received mine and it immediately struck me as very poor quality. Yes, it may work as a hoist and not a winch. However, this is just poorly made Chinese crap.

Very Noisy. Broke after the second use. I would not recommended this at all.

This thing works fantastically. Tip for the uninitiated: this is a hoist, not a winch. You cannot use the little hand crank to lift up your bow or gun. Not only will that be super loud, you're going to destroy the little plastic crank. That handle is only there to roll up the ribbon while it is under zero load.The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars for me is that the hand crank is not completely silent (plastic on plastic contact), and that it's a bit bigger than I imagined. It's slightly larger than the palm of my hand, which is much larger than the wad of 550 cord I was using to drag my gear up to hunting height. A fair trade I suppose to free me of running figure 8s between my thumb and pinkie forever.
