"Professional Use Only" is clearly stated in BOLD on the acid container, so it's a little concerning that this is being sold for home use. Despite my concerns, I tried using it, although the directions are not specific about how the acid should be applied. Do I use my finger? A cotton ball? A cloth? A clean makeup brush? Nothing is specified, so I used a cotton pad. Once applied, my face began to sting a bit, and that stinging grew as I waited the recommended four minutes, so I applied the neutralizer after three minutes. Then I washed my face with warm water and a gentle face soap.The results are good! My skin looks clear and healthier! However, besides the professional use notice and the lack of application directions, there's a warning that also says that "The safety of this product has not been determined." So, despite the positive results, I think I'm gonna forego using it again. I don't think it's worth the risk because home use for this product does not seem safe. If someone wants to try this and agree to "assume all risks associated with its use" -- as the warning states -- then perhaps they should try it. However, the risks to the skin and eyes seem too great for me, despite that it seems to work well.

I’ve never used a facial peel before but I am now a lifer. I am accustomed to high-potency skincare ingredients like AHAs, Vitamin C, and Retinol, so I figured I wouldn’t feel anything with this peel. Boy was I wrong.Right away upon applying there is a slight stinging sensation that lasts the entire time. I follow the directions and do not go over ten minutes. Immediately after spraying on the neutralizer, the stinging gets intense but only for a few seconds and by then I’m rinsing my face off.Right away after drying I can see that my skin has a smoother, brighter appearance. The immediate results are delightfully surprising!! After a couple of days I notice some slight peeling but it’s more of a flaking than anything. That part lasts about 2-3 days but my skin still retains the bright, smooth look.I feel like this peel has definitely helped me look younger and I go more often without wearing any kind of foundation because my natural skin is looking so good.Sensitive skin types in my opinion, should not leave this on for more than a few minutes at first and gradually work up from there.Since AHAs cause skin to be more sensitive to UV rays, sunscreen is a MUST.Very happy with this product and highly recommend!
