The gripzilla is BY FAR the best case of all the cases I’ve tried for the iPhone 13 mini. I wanted something protective and grippy and this fits the bill. The wavy contour on the sides for your fingers have an excellent feel when you’re holding the phone. The buttons are nice and clicky, not “mushy” feeling like on the OtterBox Commuter case, which I also tried out. Silent switch access is easy and all the cutouts are excellent. The camera cutout is specifically made for the iPhone 13 mini. In comparison, the iPhone 13 mini OtterBox Symmetry and Commuter cases are designed to fit the 12 mini as well, so the camera cutout is a little bit offset, which bugged me every time I looked at it.My only complaint is that the black is boring and utilitarian looking, but I can live with it. The grey one looked like it would get dirty on the paler back cover and I wasn’t crazy about the darker grey, concrete-looking rubber sides. There were a couple of more interestingly patterned gripzillas (grey wood grain pattern and a floral pattern) available through Amazon Canada, but you had to pay an extra $10 shipping charge.(Comparison cases: The Apple brand silicone and leather cases are very cosmetically appealing but kind of slippery. Apple clear case fit extremely tightly and was incredibly difficult to get off. OtterBox Symmetry and Commuter have a good reputation, but neither of the ones I tried had MagSafe compatibility + the inner rubber case for the commuter was slightly loose at the sides, especially the right side near the button and the case itself was bulkier than I expected. OtterBox Figura was pretty but the fit was surprisingly loose and the colours started to peel off on the bottom and sides within days of using. Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear case showed the phone colour beautifully but fingerprints were way too obvious on the back. And the rubbery parts of all clear cases yellow with time! Finally, I also have the gripmunk case in blue - love the colour and feels great in the hand, plus nice and slim but the buttons are mushy, not clicky like the gripzilla.)
