Q: Is the amethyst picture incorrect, it looks like the opal?

It doesn’t look like amethyst. It definitely looks like an opal, but you can tell it is a man made opal. Still very beautiful!

I think so. I wore for a few days, but the small purple stones were too small for me. They were very pretty, but I did not like.

The opal is actually lab created. It resembles a fire opal. The look is very genuine. The setting itself is Rose gold. There may be another option for a different color like sterling silver or white gold. The price really doesn't lend itself to white gold or silver. It is a great value for the jewelry. The look is genuine even though I know it isn't. I hope this helps you.

They are much smaller! Less than 1/3 of the size of a dime face
