the awesome the good, the awkward...
The great; Seriously people, I don't gave a phone bill for 3 MONTHS! It's amazing. The good; unlimited means unlimited. It's wonderful. Even if you don't have unlimited, you can always buy more! The awkward; when it says you need a pin code when installing, you actually need a TRANSFER pin from your soon to be old carrier. Nobody told me this and it was hard as heck to figure out.Overall; SO worth it. :>

Mint Mobile Phone Service
This phone servise lasted for 4/5 days only. After that I was unable to make or receive phone calls. For over a week I had no way of connecting with anyone to let them know i was OK. I am 71 years old & live alone. I was finally able to change to a working service and all is now OK. Please reverse and or return my $99 charge for this item. Regards

Limited for hotspot use
I bought this to serve as a hotspot for my RV, turns out there is a 5 GB hotspot limit. Why?? Now I can't use this for its intended purpose, and this isn't clear when activating/buying. Had to look up why my devices suddenly stopped receiving internet. And you can't use the slow speed after this 5GB, it completely cuts off. I'm not buying again sorry for this reason. Unlimited actually means 35 GB, the reduced speed limit is very slow.

Invalid Sim/ Terrible Customer Support
Like another reviewer has mentioned the Sim card I received wasn't working. I tried using the Activation Code on both the app and website but it said it was invalid.I contacted Mint Customer Support, then literally typed out my Activation Code, gave it to them and told them it was invalid. After waiting several minutes I was asked what my Activation Code was... After I gave it to them again and waiting several more minutes I was told that the code was invalid...Long story short I was told to contact Amazon for a replacement. Overall the process took almost half an hour only for the rep. to state the obvious and to return the item to Amazon.Update: I was able to contact an Executive Care representative on Mint Mobiles Subreddit and the issue was fixed in a couple minutes. Changed rating from 1 star to 4, would have been a 5 if the Sim card wasn't expired in the first place.

Great around metropolitan areas
If you're in the city, I would say it's a good deal. Not for people who live in rural areas, such as mountains for the country.
