Got some of these socks several years ago from a different source. Wore the heck out of them, no complaints. Finally after years of wears and TNTC washings, finally a toe hole in a pair. So, ordered replacements via this vendor. FIRST time I wore the new pair, BIG FAT hole at the Great Toe, after one wearing, normal use?? Very disappointed with that result. Price is high, but gladly paid to get the quality. However, expected to get more than one wearing usage before toe HOLES?!!? Not too satisfied with durability of this latest version of the socks.

I bought these because I suffer from neuropathy in my feet due to a minor back injury. Unlike some, my feet are actually very cold to the touch. It's not just a sensation of cold like others have. So extra warm socks like these in the fall and winter are a must. These are thick warm socks that many may find too hot. But for my cold toes they provide extra warmth. They are not as good as my heated socks (designed for outdoor winter sports) but they are the next best thing. I wear these with my rather oversized slippers as they will fit inside. They are however too bulky to fit into my house shoes or any other shoe except for my snow boots. They have very fluffy interiors and are made of acrylics but my feet never sweat in them. I do hand wash or machine wash gently and lay flat to dry. I plan to buy a couple more pairs.

I would have given these socks a 5 star rating, they are comfortable, feel fantastic on the feet but they are too short. They do not go above the calf mussel so they bunch-up around the ankle. One good thing is they do not slide over the heel into the shoe. It's amazing that a company that makes such a great produce failed to insure their product was designed to stay up. What I like about the socks is the soft fluffily lining. So far I've worn them with loafers not sure how they will work with high boots.I purchased a similar product many years ago from another manufacturer called Boot Socks but they no longer in business. They went about the calf and stated up.

Warm but not durable. Bought two pairs and within 2 months both have holes. If you snag them on anything you are done. Full disclosure, I do like wearing around the house without shoes, but I've had 3 dollar Walmart socks hold up better than these. For me, will not buy again. Not worth the cashola

These are amazing socks... when you get the right ones. This is the first of two orders that came with two different length socks. Shame too because they’re perfect for raynauds.I’m beyond picky with socks and these didn’t skeeze me out. They felt soft and they’re not too tight or too loose. My feet stay super warm and don’t sweat in them. The only problem is getting socks that are the same length. If you really want them I’d suggest maybe ordering two pairs. They still fit the size recommendations. Just put the shorter of the two together and vice versa.

I love these socks. I should have paid more attention to the review about the thin heel. I wore these and washed them twice and found the heel wore very thin. It was as if I had worm and washed them for many months. That is a disappointment. I really love them otherwise. I hope they make one with more heft in the heel.

I'll update during the Winter when the cold comes, but I found these socks, thus far, to be no warmer than non-thermal socks. They fit fine, will be thicker in your shoes, so I do enjoy the cushioning (neuropathy). I bought them hoping they would keep my toes warm (poor lower extremity circulation).

There are limits to everything but they are significantly warmer than the heaviest wool socks (and they are VERY heavy wool) that I have and a lot more comfortable. In fact the interior is lined with a soft fluff that sort of seems wasted on feet! but which apparently holds a lot of insulating air.

My feet got really cold in a room where the AC was running all day. This helped me a lot.
