Fantastic stuff for repairing your firebox or fireplace liner
I bought a used wood cookstove and the fire clay lining in the fire box was worn down on the left side. Tried firebrick but it really wouldn’t fit in it and have the grate come out. Tried this and it is fantastic. Goes on smooth and you can fill in the uneven areas, add layers onto the old clay lining. I filled in the cracks and rebuilt the whole fire box. Of course to do this, I bought two containers, but being I have a great finished fire box, I’m delighted. Highly recommend this for wood stoves and fireplace clay linings that are worn. Just understand this is 8 fluid ounces and order extra for your project. It will dry overnight and will cure when you put a fire on inside.

Did a Great job!
My fireplace & chimney really needed a good cleaning as the previous owners burned a ton of wood. I had a contractor come out & not only didn't see an improvement, but had pieces of soot falling in the earth every time I opened the door. I had them come back out & should still get a faint creosote smell when I stuck my head in there. I gave up on getting a decent job from the chimney sweeps & after some research I came across this product. I should have done that to begin with & saved myself both time & money. This stuff works great. In most areas it took the soot & burned paint off down to the original brick. That meant I had to repaint, but that only took 3 hours, including drying time between coats. My fireplace looks better than new. If you're a diyer, you really should consider giving this a try.

Too small
It works but you have to buy a lot of them if you plan to fix your cracked chimney tiles

This stuff really works!
Came Quickly and worked on my broken stone bowl for my Vision grill. Tried it in the cast iron metal grate on the bottom and it worked on it too! When I cook with it I will update reviews. So far so good!
