Durable enough to slap onto any outfit when you want to go from "meh"-looking to "Wow! Was that a Viking superhero princess that just traipsed by???" I don't do cosplay, I don't wear costumes, I don't even live in that weird but intriguing world of Renaissance fairs and storybook tomfoolery. (although lawd knows I'd prolly love it!) I actually just bought this because I have a long simple black dress that is really pretty but hangs kinda like a sack on me and it's a synthetic stretchy fabric so I'm too scared and unskilled to put pleats in the waist and a belt looks silly with it (I'm not a feminine gold/silver belt kind-of-a-girl). But I love an air of uniqueness and girlish pirate-stowaway type style so I stumbled across that weird cosplay side of amazon and suddenly had a "Hey! What about a lace-up corsetty thing to solve my problem??"-moment.And I tell that long, windy, unnecessary preamble to simply inform all those adventerous girls out there: THIS could work with a normal, everyday outfit if you wanna look cool, not over the top, just really COOL! It goes with all kinds of dresses or even a top tucked into a skirt and wrap this over your midsection to finish off your waist and slim you down. It's easy to put on and comfy and stretches from I-haven't-eaten-all-day-status to just-after-that-huge-Mexican-restaurant-meal status...almost, at least. It's strong elastic but stretchy is all I'm trying to say. I bought the small, I'm 5'5", and I range from 95 lb all the way up to 112 lb on bad bingey stretches, haha. I probably wouldn't get the small if you are above 115-120 lbs unless you are super toned/athletic and not flabby skinny fat like I am because if you try to squeeze into too small of one of these little babies, it'll squish any little stomach pudge you've got out into an unsightly little ripple above and below the corset. Then you just look like someone trying to hide their fat and pretend they ain't got no muffin issues. So: small works for just under 100 lbs to maybe 115 tops would be my prediction if that helps anyone trying to decide whoch size to order.

This will be a mass review because I literally purchased my entire first Cosplay outfit as the Joker on Amazon with the exception of my custom sneakers.Dress: Ordered a XL Petite. I usually wear a Meduim. It barely covered my butt; however, between the leggings and the cardigan I felt secure. It made the outfit!Leggings: Came 3 in a pack! Comfortable and stayed up! Did not rip and can easily be worn again. They literally lasted all day!Cardigan: Super soft and comfy. I decided to make it apart of my regular wardrobe because it is so beautiful. I love the buttons! Ordered a medium. Not tight. Easy to move in with no restrictions.Bow tie: Comfortable not too tight and matched my corset perfectly.Corset: Surprised me a little because it fastens with velcro. Served its purpose. Just not sure how many wears it will last. Ordered 2XL.Backpack: Comfortable and fit all of my personal belongings because my outfit didn’t have any pockets. Felt lightweight and the straps were just right but not too long.Wig: I wore a wig strap and it stayed in place. Was comfortable and not too tight. Definitely the right fit for a costume wig. I would not wear this wig daily as it shed pretty bad.Heels: Purchased from Amazon last year. Comfortable, sturdy, and still holding up.Amazon did not disappoint!

I am a very small woman, with a small waist. This corset fit me perfectly before and after indulging at olive garden. It was gorgeous

I bought this for a pirate fundraiser I was invited to. It’s exactly as pictured, it came quick quality is on par with the price point. I have an hourglass shape but this was really tight and dug into me, making it uncomfortable. I was just gonna suffer through it for fashion like us ladies do, when I picked up other friends to go to the fundraiser, another friend bought it and ditched it because she was so uncomfortable in it too. So I ditched mine as well. She has a very slender build. It’s cute, definitely gives the pirate look but unless you have zero cushion around the middle it’s gonna dig in and be uncomfortable.

Bought this to use as part of a mushroom fairy outfit for my daughter. The small size fits her perfectly. For reference, she's a size 9/10.

This is absolutely not one size fits all. I usually wear M or L shirts and L pants, and I have to SQUEEZE this on. It’s cute and serves its purpose for me, that won’t be the case for anyone bigger than me. It’s *tiny*.

Perfect costume corset available in all sorts of colors. It's generalized sizing so if you are on the bigger side of the scale you have to really stretch it and it's only Velcro closing. Works for what I intended!

Bought as part of a costume, but worn over the course of a few months in various parties/dress up modes and is looking good as new each time. Nice colour - if you need royal blue. :)
