How long does a full charge last on average and how long should I be spinning the hand crank to recharge it?

Dear Customer, Thanks for your question. Usually the DAB radio need 7 hours to fullu charged with 5V/2A adapter. Also the portable radio need 15 hours to fully charged by hand crank charging which is usually used in a emergency. Rotate the crank handle at the speed of 2 laps per second. It will generate 300-350mA electricity. When the battery is fully charged, if you are in FM radio with 50% middle volume, the portable radio will last 25 hours. Why does it only charge the 5000mah rechargeable battery at 0.5 amps when description refers to a 2 amp usb cable?

Due less consumer with energy working with digital radio. Possibly full battery last 12 hours is that you need?

Hi customer services,the instructions say don’t charge indoors,will it not charge via the solar panel indoors ?

Dear customer, If you want to charge with solar panels, we recommend you put it outdoors which directly to the sunlight, we consider that the light in the room may not be enough for charging.

I have been charging plugged to socket for 4 hours and the light is still showing red. Is this normal? How many hours it takes?

If it is very flat it trickle charges until it gets some charge in the battery then speeds up ,be done when done .check it is plugged in properly.
