Let me say at the outset that the caveat is warranted, as in previous reviews, that if you have other than a Levy's strap, this item may not fit suitably. That having been said, if you DO own a Levy's strap with the narrow tailpiece, this thing fits absolutely perfectly - like a glove, if you will. And when you finally weave this unit in, it's installed rock solid, like it's an extension of your strap. Levy's strap owners - if you've gone through the expense of buying yourself one of their quality leather straps and you clip on a wireless transmitter, do yourself a big favor and get one of these ideally suited units to both anchor your transmitter solidly onto your leather strap and to complement your setup - you'll be glad you did. I certainly am - I bought two at the outset, and I'm buying more so I can install them on every guitar (yes, most of my guitars sport Levy's straps, so ... no issue there!). One minor drawback - I do wish they were offered in other colors, as I installed one on a tan leather strap, but ... hey, it's a small point. Bottom line - it is actually an excellent design when used on a Levy's strap, and your transmitter will be affixed onto your strap safely and solidly.

As the title says, these are exactly what I needed. Based on the picture the width of the velcro part doesn't look large enough to encompass a standard 2 inch wide guitar strap but it does! It holds it just fine without having to overlap the strap. Straps that have a width greater than 2 inches will need to be folded over. Every guitar strap I own currently has one of these on it and every future guitar / strap will have one as well. These work great on a regular strap, or for added stability use it with a feed-through strap. The elastic is very tight and holds my transmitter pack very securely. The only problem is the clip on my transmitter was getting snagged on the inside and it was a pain in the ass to remove. The clip is removable so I took it off and this works much better. This is recommended to every guitar / bass / whatever player who uses a wireless system. Putting the transmitter in your pocket sucks. What happens if you lift your guitar up for a stage move or something? I've seen people with hanging transmitters mid-song. That doesn't look very professional. Duct tape is ok but if you need to switch guitars or straps you're screwed. This is legitimately the best option you can possibly get. Lastly, I'm using this with the Line 6 Relay G90 system.

This is very good but I wish there were a wider version for leather guitar straps. So it's a 4-1/2 star rounded up.

I bought a pair of these to use with a pair of BLX1 body packs (matching BLX4(r) Transmitters, if you're more used to seeing that part number). I just used them at a 4-hour show where I switch between instruments multiple times in every set, so I'm constantly setting one down and picking another one up. I use one on a mandolin strap and one on a banjo strap. The way they made the strap connector is extremely versatile. It seems that you could find a way to attach the holder to nearly any strap unless it's unusually wide the whole way around. There are several slots to run your strap through, and a backup velcro closed "slot" that you can use. I was able to feed both my straps through the slots with only a limited amount of struggle with the Chicago screws that hold the strap together. I could have taken them off too, but I was being lazy. That being said, I didn't try it on any of my guitar straps, but the instructions said that's what the velcro was for. My mandolin hangs on a hanger, so the strap part with the transmitter would sort of hang vertically upside-down when I took it off. My banjo goes onto a floor stand, so the pack tended to sit on the ground when I took it off. The cases themselves fit my BLX1 body pack quite well and did manage to hold my packs in the whole night. The catch with that is that they both seem just a tiny bit loose to me, and were both wiggling out just a little bit as the night went on. Currently, it wasn't a big deal since I'm switching anyway, and it only took a fraction of a second to make sure it was fully seated in the holder when I grabbed it. However, I'm a little worried that over time they will loosen more and the pack will simply fall out. I may remedy this myself with a bit of sewing on the elastic or some other DIY solution, but in the photos it sort of looked like this was closed at both ends to me - and it's not. Still, it suits my purpose and unless you're doing something strange it'll probably work for yours too.

I have this one and the more expensive one from Levy, I can't really tell the difference in appearance. This is not a problem as no one is going to see it attached to your strap. My Line 6 transmitter is a tight fit in both holders, but this is what you need to guarantee it stays in the holder! I only take mine out to change the battery. I have a thick Levy strap and it attached with on issues. I am sure it will not fit every strap out there so just be aware. From the advertisements may think this holder is manufactured in Canada but it is actually made in China. This was not a problem as I did not see any quality issues. The more expensive one I believe was made in Canada.

This a great product for holding the cordless transmitter on your guitar strap. The velcro fixture on the back tightens it against the strap so that you can slide it to the position you like best and it stays put. I own Levy guitar straps and also Moody straps. This works perfectly on both. Some reviewers have complained that the slots are too small for a normal guitar strap. All the wide straps I own have a narrow leather extension that runs to the guitar bottom. This is the part of the strap that allows it to be adjusted to various lengths. It is on this narrow strap that you mount the MM4. It's a perfect fit. If you're trying to mount it to the wide part of the strap, you'll have a tough time. Great Product, reasonably priced.

This is a great wireless pack. I used it with my older Sennheiser wireless guitar system. And then when I updated to the new frequencies. I purchased a Line 6 G30. I had to remove the little belt clip from the transmitter and it fit snugly. I also got a 90degree cable to be permanently connected and it easily comes out the side of this pouch. I recently purchased a second wireless system (also a g30) and another of these pouches so I can have two wireless guitars at a time and just use different channels for each. It is constructed with the high quality that Levy guitar straps have. Should last forever.

I needed a better way to handle a wireless unit for an upcoming show. I'd been just slipping the body pack into a pocket :) This mounts onto the guitar strap. The body pack fits into it securely (I used a Shure PGXD1, most of the others are a pretty similar size). There are a number of mounting options, but I chose the simplest and it seemed plenty safe. I did not spin the guitar around my back to check, but I suspect that I could have (if that was the kind of thing I knew how to do). Anyway, I made it through the show with no problems. At least, no problems that can be attributed to the wireless holder. I can recommend it.

Affidabile, adatto a numerosi bodypack, stabile e non scivola una volta fissato con il proprio velcro. Semplicemente eccezionale.

Yeah OK it's pricey but decent lol I just recently got signed in America with a big group and our advance meant wireless exploring for the first time lol... So I got my fancy sennheiser wireless rig and got this and wasn't sure as it doesn't actually have anything to secure the transmitter in... Which makes me nervous as I'm an excitable player who moves a lot on stage, and does a lot of movement generally when soloing etc, but it stays in tight and snug and doesn't budge, it doesn't slide up and down my leather strap either and sits nicely on my buckle, the velcro is strong too which adds security to the fixing to the strap, I'd like to see some elastic or a press stud to secure the device into it properly if you decide to wear it on the side as opposed to portrait so to speak lol, see pics, but yeah it's good, pricey for what it is but the fact the velcro is good and has been designed well and keeps the device so snugly fitted, its worth it to me for sure. As you can see you can wear it through the side or from top to bottom, top to bottom alows you to use your own strap to secure the device but running over the top, but on the side there is no way I don't think??? But either way it doesn't fall out but maybe over time the elastic in the material at the entrance of the pouch may weaken and it might the slide out and I don't fancy that lol so yah a little rubber strap to secure would be a nice feature but I'll just my strap!

Voilà cinq ans que j'ai acheté cet étui. Depuis, entre répètes et concerts il n'a jamais bougé, les scratch sont d'excellente qualité . L'émetteur (shure) est toujours bien maintenu, et en même temps facile à enlever pour changer les piles rapidement. Je suis hyper satisfait de mon achat. je recommande vivement si vous voulez que votre émetteur ne risque rien.
