ZE-307P 660W 250V Ceramic Socket Rotary Knob Switch Lamp Holder Replaces E136278 Yah Fei YF605 DR47

My son purchased a lamp for his appartment at school but when he plugged it in, it sparked. He and his room mate dismanteled it and discovered one of the sockets had a short. I was able to get the model from the socket and searched amazon and found the replacement. It was delivered quickly and I was able to fix his light and now works as expected. Much easier to having to go find the correct socket at an electrical supply store.

The piece serves it purpose but not worth the money

I loved it out of the box, looked like the exact replacement. HOWEVER, the screw holes were a little bit smaller, after trying to use original screws I ended up stripping out one screw hole, after a trip to the local MENARDS, couldn't find exact screw, very tiny screw with very tiny threads, it did not matter since I already stripped out one. trying to get refund. NO problem with seller, just inaccurate description. unless you have a box of tiny screws laying around GOOD LUCK.

This is not your standard light socket but fits my vintage’70’s European desk lamp perfectly.

I read other reviews about using screws but those people just hacked something not meant for a screw.This is pretty poor quality stuff, if you ask me. Maybe I expected more. The switch has terrible action when twisted.
