They hold up the bikes. My wife's bike, with a basket and fatter tires, requires a little more care. The rack is not 100% secure as far as holding the bike vertical. I take care to balance the bike and brace it lightly against the wall and that works for me. Mine is a more typical road bike and lighter; with it there is no issue at all. I put the bikes end to end and use the stand for the rear wheel. That way either bike can be removed for use by just pulling it forward off the rack. I have them in my garage with two cars, so for me the issue was space; these racks work as I had hoped.

I bought a few models of this stand and found this one works best. It folds up small enough to fit in my bike saddle bag and take with us on the go. I had issues with my bike falling over while trying to support the dog buggy using my kickstand. This stand works best on the back tire to secure in place and is light and easy to use. Not super study but study enough when wanting a mobile bike rack.

This bike stand came broken due to poor packaging in a plastic bag from Amazon. They sent me a replacement which was double boxed and arrived intact.The stand folds up small for storage. It works well to hold bike but after a while my tire lost air and the bike fell over. It’s also so light that it needs to be held down with foot or hand when racking the bike or the stand will move on the floor. Removing the bike from the rack is really easy.I rated it 3 stars because it didn’t make racking my bike any easier than the cheap $2 2x4 rack I was using before I got this one.I only purchased one to try out even though I have 5 bikes I will continue using the cheap 2x4 racks because they work much easier than this rack.

The original item was delivered damaged. This review is for the replacement item....The 2nd one arrived undamaged. It seems a little more light weight, and not quite as robust as I anticipated. But, that's OK. It seems to be well made for the price point. It does what it is supposed to do, hold my bike bike up. I like how it folds up to fit in my gear chest. It's fairly easy to operate. If you're looking for an inexpensive bike stand, this is a good buy. I would recommend this item for use indoors, I wouldn't say it's sturdy enough for outdoor use. This seems to have some unfair reviews IMO. It's really not that bad for the money, as is the case for all of the Rockbros gear I have purchased to this point. Hope this helps.

You get what you pay for definitely. It will hold your bike up but don't expect it to stay in one place when you rack / unrack. Movement wouldn't be as big a problem if there were a way to lock the feet in their expanded position.I'll keep it as it still saves me from having to drive heavy anchors in the wall. It's not terribly ergonomic but for the price I would say I recommend it.
