It took my 3 tries of being frustrated but i finally got it open with a butter knife, afraid to close it back up now. Also does now come with any plastic film to cover photo or template to cut photo to right size inside

Well made but incredibly hard to open and took forever to get the photo inside

Wasn't thrilled with the quality. First off, it's very bulky, it's very boxy looking where the sides are deep. Second, the finish is rough looking, almost looked scratched or like it had a "brushed silver" look, not super shiny like in the photo. Also, the gem was very very cheap looking, like something you'd see in kids play jewelry. And lastly, there's literally no way unless you glue the photo in to keep the Pic from falling out. The only good thing i can say is the chain was decent. I like box chains so that was a plus.

This mistake was probably my own fault. But. This thig looks like a watch battery. I will have a fine time cutting a picture small enough to go in there. It seems well constructed although tough to open. Better have strong fingernails. I wonder if it is not plated or not. there are no makers mark or 925 or anything stamped on there any where I can find. I looked again while I was writing to make sure. I did find something stamped on the back that could be 925. Too small for me even with a magnifiying glass. I'm not young. It does seem well made and probably 925. I guess I should have checked the size of it better. Small size is definately better for younger folks with sharper eyes.

I gave it a 2 because it is beautiful. IT IS TINY. No way to get a pic in there that you can really see. I used gummy bear to show size.
