Good buy on expanding foam.
I used this product to seal a number of areas in a greenhouse I'm building. It's been several weeks since I've applied it and here is what I think of it:1.) It's a good product for the price. I bought a case of 12 (at the time it was $40, now it's almost double unfortunately). I'm a little sad it's gone up in price since I had planned on buying more.2.) Get more than you think you'll need. I had TONS of cracks and seams to fill in between earthbags and wood. It has sealed incredibly well and I have no complaints about it's application, but it doesn't go as far as you think it does. I used up 12 cans and it was almost not enough for what I needed for the job. Maybe it's just user-error in calculating what I needed.3.) USE GLOVES. This stuff seals great, but it's Styrofoam in a can and will not come off after application if you get it on you. After 24-48 hours it'll be off, but you better not be doing hand modeling for those couple days ;)4.) The stuff does tend to run just a little bit. I think it's an acceptable amount since you're dealing with expanding foam and it's going to be a messy project, but watch out for your fingers... as mentioned, it doesn't come off very well! All in all, I give it a 4/5... I would probably give it a 5/5 if it was cheaper. It's a more budget friendly expanding foam than most of the other brands, but for what they're charging in bulk now, it might be worth spending a little more if you cannot get the case of 12 for $40. Maybe I'm just a cheapskate :)

Better than great stuff
I use this for window and door replacements. I have brick on the outside of my house, a small air gap, concrete block and furring strips to the block. The plaster goes direct to the furring strips. If your home is built like this, you can relate to how hard it is to seal drafts around windows and doors. I ended up pulling the whole window and frames and using this stuff to fill the air cavity in the blocks and the open air cavity between the block and brick. It expands in place and it fills all the voids nicely. It's pretty dense so it stops the air from drafting and it was easy to trim back without a big mess. It also cleaned up off the vinyl very easy. I'd highly recommend. No point in putting in new windows and doors if you're not going to seal around them.

This is the good stuff
The waterproof foam makes a high quality seal, and is much more durable than low cost foams. Get the gaps kind for bigger expansion/cracks, and the windows kind for smaller cracks etc. Make sure to get the right foam for your particular needs, and you will not be disappointed. I personally prefer the gaps/cracks larger expansion over the windows version, but the products both produce similarly durable foams. Highly recommended.

Works great
Works really well. It's amazing how much coverage you get from a single can. Dries quickly. Wear gloves when using because it's difficult to remove once it dries on your skin.
